Patreon Tax Update
Hello Fans, Friends, and Family,
Today we are hard at work on episodes of Iluka, VAST Horizon, and Season 4 of The White Vault, but we wanted to take a quick break to share an important Patreon update.
As some of you are aware, Patreon (the company) is now required by law to charge sales tax appropriate to the states and countries of Patrons around world, starting this month. This means that there will be a slight increase to your bill to reflect these taxes. While we have limited control over this, we can affect it based on what our Patreon offers. We have gone through our list of rewards to ensure that you are not charged sales tax on benefits that are not goods. We feel that we did the best job we could to categorize all of the benefits we offer on our page to minimize this impact. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to sharing more stories with you very soon!

Death and taxes....sigh. No worries, guys. Thanks for the update.
UK backers have been paying the equivalent tax (VAT) since the start so I say about bloody time. My preference would obviously be that nobody pays tax because that 20% that nobody benefits from except the state prevents me from backing more creators.
I figured it was only a matter of time. Not a worry, my support for you guys won't change.
