Those tweaks to the theme music with the addition of the choir - it’s beautiful! So eerie and hella creepy. Well done you guys. Also I need to go back and listen to Imperial again. Also yay for more Sophie Yang! She’s great.

Every time a podcast starts a new season, I always get this little twinge in my stomach. Is it going to be as good? Will they be able to bring the same quality? Will the story pull me in like before? By now I should know, when I see The White Vault on my podcast feed, it’s going to be amazing. The change in the theme song, the new expedition and characters...I don’t know what to say besides I love it and I can’t wait to hear what happens next. Just like in season 1, that twinge will turn to worry and anticipation about what happens next. Thank you! It’s going to be an amazing season.
I'm already so excited for this new cast and adventure. Also it still excites me when I hear " Travel is not advised." Cause what is the White Vault without it?

Ahhhhhhhhh I'm so excited! This was an excellent first episode; like when we met the Fristed team, I felt like I got a good sense of all the players, with the bonus that many of these people know or at least have met each other, so we've already got an idea of how the characters interact with one another. Really digging that! (Also, I couldn't help but notice the reference to two of the characters from and Summit and...yup. Yup, had some suspicions confirmed. And I bet that's the "official" story.)
I loved it! I feel like I have enough back story and introduction to recognize each character and get a sense of motivation but this first episode did not feel weighed down by exposition. The dialogue feels natural and the details provide so much realism (equipment needed, conditions and experience which are necessary to the team members etc). I'm stoked for the next episode!
