Waited for all the episodes to come out before binging and omfg this season has been killing me
I AM NOT OK
Can't remember which episode mentioned the time(s) in history when the world has suffered "consequences" for Family members going rough but I think about it EVERY time I listen to any other podcast that covers historical events! Especially after listening to the side-quest miniseries (Imperial et al.) I plan to tide myself over the interim by imagining which other "unreasonable storms" mentioned to have sunk a ship might have been caused by something like the Patagonia event. If y'all're looking for a new miniseries...reach out to the ladies over at National Park After Dark (episode#283 made me feel like they had secret notes from the board room!)
Statz issued plot armor comes with a bullseye painted on it, a lining much like that of an iron maiden, and probably spalls explosively with the slightest contact. Makes life in her universes more fun.

So if Irina is likely a true daughter, that means Graham wasn’t the only person to have connections in the first group to the family. How does Sidja choose their candidates I wonder… how are any of the candidates selected? All of the Fristed crew seemed to have some significant other that is often on their minds. Jonas and now we know Graham both have familial connections, so what about the rest? Was Molly Davis-Heath also a true daughter or at least tied to the family? What about Rolf? But what about Rosa? Ahhh! You guys write some incredible stuff! I’m so excited I’m practically chewing on the dry wall for the next episode!

What an attention grabber!! So much lore dropped and I wish this story would continue for forever!! I am going to have to listen to the whole thing again. It's just too good.
Wait, that's Graham's daughter?? Either that was a bomb drop or I zoned out in a prior episode. Anyway whether or not that was intended, that was my stop-whatever-I-was-doing moment this episode!
It’s been said at least as early as the first call she got out to Olga. Olga calls her “Iri” which is short for Irena.
This entire story, from the very beginning, has literally saved my life. The writing, music, sound design, voice acting, all of it is just so incredible. I look forward to each new episode and feel emotionally attached to all of these characters.
