Writing for Audio Fiction - Audio Drama Podcasting with K. A. Statz
Writing for Audio Fiction has its own difficulties outside of the every-day problems that plague writers. Join K. A. Statz, the writer for Fool & Scholar Productions (The White Vault, Dark Dice, Don't Mind), as she walks through the bare-bones-basics of what helps convey an audio story from a script!
In this presentation we discuss:
Writing for Audio Sound Scripting
Writer's Block
Practical Outlining
And More!
Check out the Audio Drama Round Table playlist for more content on how to learn to podcast.
Special thanks to A.J. Punk'n (the original Guardian) for their support in making this presentation possible!

I loved the Audio Drama roundtable! Can't wait to learn more! I would also love to hear about the sources you'd drawn from when you were starting out both in terms of audiofiction and storytelling. Also! About the way you started marketing your podcasts on the onset – What should I do if I have my episodes done and mastered, but how do I get it into the world, how do I market, when do I create a company etc – Also (2) how did you marketing change when Fool & Scholar grew
Thanks for the specifics! Travis and I both work on the marketing, so we'll have to discuss it among ourselves as well, but the how-to of podcasting, such as explaining RSS hosts and the like, is certainly possible!
Heck yeah! I'm excited to learn to this. Thank you 🙏
