Do you want more physical goods? Patch & Poll
Hey Friends,
It's been a VERY busy week since wrapping up production on Dark Dice (in person). We're getting really close to announcing a new show, and have a LOT of content being prepped for a busy October! In the meantime...
Patches. We wanted to let you know that we've begun preliminary work on the 2024 White Vault patch design for 2024, that will be available to active patrons at the Initiate tier and above. We'll make a full post once we have a proper design to share.
We had originally made a mockup for a "rocker" that would fit under the 2023 Goshawk patch, but are experimenting with designs as a standalone patch. We wonder if any of you can guess the theme for this year ;)
Physical Goods Tier? We are looking into the possibility of offering Patrons your very own artifact (grípralviðr). An early cost analysis with prop-making specialists revealed that postage costs will be quite high, even if we can keep production costs affordable... And since these added costs will not directly aid in the production of our podcasts (the goal of our Patreon), we wanted to gauge your interest and comfort in the creation of a "yearly physical goods" tier.
The idea:
A new tier that includes the perks of our $20 tier, billed yearly, with the estimated cost of making/shipping a yearly high quality physical object baked in. We plan to share photos of the prop in question before making such a tier, but we're in the very early phases of brainstorming and wanted to ask - if you feel that a $25-$35/mo tier (billed yearly) would be reasonable, and of interest.
This would potentially allow us to:
Ethically create high quality (individually numbered) props that you can take home (like an artifact)
Ensure we don't lose money making & shipping them (like our pins in 2023)
Increase stability to our Patreon subscriber count by having a higher number of yearly subscribers
Offer other quality props for Patrons in the future. A grípralviðr, a small scale statue from one of the sites, the painted bust of a character, (your ideas here), etc. Ideas don't have to be limited to The White Vault. Give us your ideas for our varied shows!
We look forward to your feedback!

I'm way more into stickers than I am into patches or statues.
I wrote above but outside of white vault, what about a tower of Atrius? I can't be the only one right
We actually made a few of those awhile back!
I would love to print an Artifact on my 3D printer or a grípralviðr. So I'd probably pay for an STL.
For this specific idea, we'd probably be looking at a custom cast as opposed to an STL + print
Investigator tier???
Or you mean Initiate?
I am in. I squealed in delight almost as loudly as the spoiler event in season 2. Of course, when I listened to the episode, I wasn't sitting at work. I have apologized three times so far but I have not explained. Boxes for hearts and teeth don't fit corporate parameters for polite conversations.
Ngl i audibly gasped when I read this. I’d be so for a physical artifact.
This seems logical to me.
Watch out for the apple tax soon hitting Patreon on IOS devices. They find ways to get their money out of everybody.
We already adjusted accordingly (literally today). Thanks!
I am assuming this means 12 months of $25-35 paid in one lump sum? I love this idea, I'm still kicking myself for missing out on the first rocker for the white Vault patch. I know when the details came together I'd try to budget for this tier.
I just fixed the post! ~$60-$150 (in addition to the $20 tier) at once, which includes shipping.
That sounds so amazing! And I already have teeth for a box, courtesy of our 2021 Spoopy Lamprey Exchange! Would 100% upgrade tiers
$35 billed yearly; does that mean $35 per year, or 12 months of $35 paid in one lump sum annually?
We're running numbers right now. Let's assume $30/mo, billed yearly. ($20/mo tier + $120 extra ($10/mo) for making/shipping
I LOVE the idea of a physical tier. Looking to up my membership, new to the patreon. This would be the sweetest, kindest and all out amazing aspect to implement. There is always something magical to having a tangible piece and seeing how items look in life from the creators eyes.
Make it a set of dice and we're talking! :)
Sounds like a Interesting plan
You had me at stone box.
