Parent-Child Relationships Mod
Hello Simmers,
This new mod is about children that disapprove of their parent's new partner. Like, if your sim's partner died, escaped, or wanted a divorce? It's time to move on and be happier with someone else who has children and doesn't want to lose non of them, then go ahead and talk to them about what they think about getting married again and ask the new partner what they think about you having children.
They might accept and try hard to make it work and they can refuse and be forced to break up and maybe find someone else.
The child might be happy for their parent or, sad fearing they might lose them, or angry being jealous of losing your interest in them.

- A special interaction between a child or teen with an adult sim: (only if they are good friends)
- Child Stepparent menu: (the "Say bad things" will only be available when they are arguing with the stepparent a.k.a Caregiver)
This would appear when the conversation is pleasant:

To talk about their children, the should have the Parenting skill level 3 minimum:

This will appear when they are having an aggressive conversation!

I added 2 interactions for the New Partner menu that includes:
+ Being Infertile (Will work only if your sim is infertile & yes it works with Woohoo Wellness Mod)

+ Being Transgender (will work only if your sim is a custom one in CAS or with cheats)

A requested interaction where the parent discusses getting married to their ex! Of course with moodlets in-game

Hi! Currently, my sims are having whims where they will say certain things in this mod to random people (not step-parents or even in the family). Are there any conflicts that you know of or have a resolution I should try?
Maybe could we get interaction for parents adopted kids? Is there maybe a mod you can make for other family members like aunts.uncles, cousins and grandparents? Another also maybe in laws? Like mother in law could hate their child's spouse. Or bother/sister could also have the same interaction?
Hey I'm having some issues in my game where I just made all new sims but somehow the teen couple I'm playing with have the step-siblings interactions even though they share no familial ties nor are their parents remarried. I also have this issue with my teen sim's friends.

Hi, my current game consists of: a dad and mom, a daughter from dad's first marriage (aka current mom's step daughter) and the bio daughter of the mom and dad. However, the bio daughter NOT the stepdaughter keeps getting angry about mom having a new partner? But she doesn't and the dad and mom are both her bio parents. Any suggestions to fix this? I have removed the mod from my game for now, but really love it and would love a fix if possible

Hi, is there a way to make the step parent/new parent interactions only be available for sims who actually have this kind of family dynamics? Because right now my sims who are a biological, happily married family have these autonomous interactions and it doesn't make any sense... If it is not possible, could there be at least a way to not have thes interactions be autonomous? I really enjoy this mod, but when I play a normal family it just adds a lot of mess :(
hello, hope you're doing well! the step-parent pie menu would only appear if the sim is caregiver/dependent, and yes I'm working on the autonomous, still don't know what makes them pop up
