Sul sul, hope everyone is doing great I am excited to share this new mod with you. This mod is made especially for when you forget to feed the baby for too long or neglect your child and you lose them.
As in-game there isn't much gameplay about it, I created this gameplay mod to make it more realistic for the Sims to freak out.
Everything starts when you get this notification and receive this moodlet:
Within the 3 hours or 10 hours your sim has the moodlet, they will unlock a new interaction:
this interaction will give your sim the new trait that will unlock to the sim some interaction that concerns the whisked-away child
Let me know if you want me to add more interactions (Comment your ideas and I will try to put them in the mod soon)
I will try to add a fear trait soon
If your sim wants to avoid the neglecting child experience, they can create a bond with their child or maybe their second one, and try to hear their needs better:
This trait will unlock a new pie menu under Friendly with your child or grandchild where they can have a more in-depth family experience:
You might learn more about your child's needs and make sure that they are happy and there is nothing to worry about.
Once your sim had enough of failing and not having any other choice but to give up, this interaction will help them move on
It will replace the "Neglected their child" trait with a new one that is similar but with a different name
This new trait will unlock a new conversation

You should be be able to "plead" with the cps worker ha just like grim! It probably be to much to ask to have a "hearing" but that be awesome!

Hi, I just updated this mod and I got an Exception Summary saying that the mod has a bad script. I'm not sure if BE is making a mistake.

this mod isnt working after the new update
hey there is a bug. I put the file in the mods folder but when I started the game I always redirected to the world option. what's happening? It means I cannot use the downloaded file :(
This is so cool! I never liked the original system and how quickly the parent seemed to get over it. If possible, you should try to see if basemental will work with you on losing your kids due to drug abuse and having to drug test for CPS or something along those lines. There's so much potential there!

Im still not getting the neglected their child trait. the moodlet that the child was whisked away happened and I was able to complain to someone about that child being whisked away, but the neglected their child trait never came... and it's not even an option from the add trait menu to do it manually.
maybe a bug happened, can you please try again ? I just tried it on my game and it worked. Normally the trait shows up when the sim is older than the age of child
is this working for anyone else? still just have them taken and adopted... no moodlets or other interactions with this mod.
this mod isn't for adopted children it's for taken away one, like if you don't feed the baby the toddler or the child is soo hungry, they disappear from your household and you get a specific base game automatic sad moodlet for the parent and then you receive the Complain interaction during that moodlet time
