I temporarily removed the broken script addon, chingyu_CommonTraitsMenu, from the download page until I fix it. The traits are still working for the patch.

⚙️ Recommended Mods to Use With My Traits:
My Lifetime Traits is a mod to assign corresponding personality traits when toddlers grow up to child age. You can still edit the auto-assigned traits in the aging-up UI if you don't like them!
My More CAS Traits is a tuning mod that allows your Sims to have more than 3 Personality (CAS) traits without script or changes to UI.
My Custom Traits in Club Filter let you set all Preferences, Lifestyles, Parenthood Phases, University Diploma/Degree, Ghost/Death Types, Rewards, and Aspirations Bonus Traits from the base-game and packs as well as custom traits made by me and many other creators' traits as the club requirement.
My Sorted Traits Picker allows you to add traits to your Sims categorized by game packs, cc trait packs, and their creators, without going through a long list of AddTraitsMenu.
My Mass Traits Remover helps you to remove traits from your Sims/Pets in bulk, without clicking on remove traits one by one with other cheat traits mod.
My Holiday Tradition Override makes custom traits affecting the Love and Ignoration (Does Not Care) of Holiday Traditions. E.g. Aromantic Sims no longer want to celebrate any love day tradition, Hostile Sims love the fighting tradition, etc.

Remove the Part 1 & Part 4 folders from 100 Base Game Traits Pack V1 when you try out this 100 Base Game Traits Pack V2.
Extract the downloaded zip and PUT Package + Script together only ONE folder deep OR directly in your Mod Folder. Do NOT keep the zip in your Mod folder!
🚨 Download addon_LumpinouMoods ONLY if you also download and install Lumpinou_MoodPackMod! 🚨 Put this addon together in the same folder with the traits' packages if you use it.
Reward store requires an XML injector for it to work. If you don't have the injector, the traits simply won't show up in the reward store. In addition, you may also add 100 traits to Sims with my Sorted Traits Picker.
I haven't remade the chingyu_addon_RealDisorderNames for V2 because of some translation issues. Please remove the addon if you use V2.
If you use an unmerged translation, download the mod as usual and also put the translation package directly in your Mod folder.

Hi, I am also experiencing a UI trait LE. I have Lumpinou's latest mood pack installed, so I'm unsure why this is still being triggered each time I play a household. It began after the Lovestruck patch, I believe. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because this is a staple for me in my game!

This version is still compatible with the current patch. If you see UI glitches, it means you missed downloading the required custom mood pack by Lumpinou when you use the custom mood addon. If you see missing strings, it means you missed putting the string table package in your mod folder. 😉

Hi! 100 traits are currently under remaking in my WIP. V2 shares some common tunings so they can't be separated. In the WIP and the to-be-released V3, they will be provided in separate traits. 😉

Hi, thank you for the wonderful mods! I'm so very confused about the various versions and what does and does not need to be downloaded. Everything was working fine until I went to update mods and now the menus for the 100 traits are all blank with no traits listed. I don't actually see the script file for version 2 that is referenced in the comments also? I'm probably missing it.

Agreed. Great and exciting mods!! But anytime I have to re-download due to an update, it's immediately a headache and SO overwhelming :( . The instructions are so confusing.

I can tell you have some great mods and traits, but I'm so overwhelmed and confused about how and what to download. At some point if you can do a "getting started" with some kind of graph or check-list to guide you through what to download first, last etc I think that would be super helpful! <3

I recently added the updated version of this, and have v1 as well, but the ones deleted out of it that this post says to delete (v1 part 1 and 4) and my menu when I click on my sim is all messed up now, like there are several "MORE CHOICES". I noticed in the zip there are new files called PICKER for P 2, PICKER for P 1 and so forth... are these necessary? because if they aren't I'd like to take them out...

Hey there! Thank you for your wonderful mods. Quick question about this one. I have the CAS version of the basic traits installed, but the traits still show up as reward options. Is this intended, or an error? I'd love a way to correct this if possible, since the traits clutter my reward store. Thanks in advance for any help!
It is not an error. CAS version of V2 still shows up in the reward store by default to use along with my More CAS Traits mod. If you don't like them in the store, you may use V1 instead.
Hey I had properly downloaded and installed the CAS version of this mod and it ended up breaking a lot of the graphics in my game so I just thought I should let you know that ! ;;

Hey it looks like I'm having the same issue as Joslyn, some of the traits don't show up in the menu for some reason. Do you need specific sim packs for any of these to show up maybe?
No, they are all base-game compatible. Joslyn had the issue because he didn't download parts other than part 1 (Basic Traits) and part 4 (Attractiveness Traits) from v1, which he missed the three parts (2,3,5) from the list.

Since there is no other conflicting mod for my custom traits, check if you have the reward version from V1 in your mod folder. Any of my mods with scripts should be only ONE folder deep or put directly in your Mod Folder. Any of the other mods e.g. traits should be FIVE or fewer folders deep in your Mod Folder. Check if the "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed" are ON in Game Options. Hi, I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can not get this to work properly. I downloaded the CommonTraitsMenu package and the Rewards traits file. I have everything in one folder in the Mods folder. I get the Traits Menu when I shift click on Sims but there is nowhere in the rewards store or anywhere to add traits. I don't know what I am missing, I am new to mods and this page is very confusing. EDIT: I think I am missing the "store" package, I don't see it as a download anywhere on this page though. Where do I get it?

I got some problems after installing this mod. Some base game traits are gone, for example the evil trait...so when i'm trying to place and play a household from the gallery, the game just stucks on loading screen and afterwards there is a LE. Even with still accessible traits from the game i get the same issues when I use new traits from this mod. Can someone help me? What am i doing wrong?
All my traits packs do not override or affect any of the game traits. Try looking if you use my other game mods. If you mean a UI glitch, that means you missed Lumpinou_MoodPackMod when you use !chingyu_addon_LumpinouMoods. But this doesn't sound like what you described. If you got a LE, you can send it to me on Discord to check which mod is related to the LE. 😉
So it’s seems to be the basic traits and season and faithfulness traits thats all in the reword store. The Thing is only faithless is in the reword store every other trait is in cas (edit I fixed it)

No. There used to be a package called chingyu_addon_STORE_Basic which makes the Basic Traits appearing in the reward store. It is integrated into chingyu_casVer_BasicTraits_V2.1 and chingyu_RewardVer_BasicTraits_V2.1

All the traits are compatible with patch 1.79! I'm updating the reward store add-on this week for all traits. I was doing updates for another traits pack because I want patrons to get a more variety of content this month. 😋

Hi Chingyu, I just wanted to ask where to find the cheat to remove the persistent buffs? I've been looking through the cheats menu, and I haven't been able to find it.
It is shift-click---> Traits Control. 😉 You need to have testing cheats on. In case you don't know how to turn on cheats. It's to press Ctrl + Shift + C and to type "testingcheats on". 😄
Im a little confused. Can I use both the CAS and Rewards traits at the same time? Also, what is chingyu_addon_STORE_Basic.package?
No, you can only choose one version. You can click on "What's the difference between Original (CAS) and Reward Version" and it answers your question. Besides, addon_STORE is for the traits to be picked in the reward store.

If you don't understand what many stuff means, you can just download chingyu_addon_STORE_Basic.package and chingyu_casVer_BasicTraits.package to try. They work as usual as other custom traits.
I know many people like having the traits in one package, but will there still be an option to have traits in separate packages? For Part 1, I only use Gentle and Sensitive. I know I could just not use the other traits on my Sims, but then NPC's use them, so I would rather just have the option to place individual traits in my game. Thank you for the work that you do, I particularly love your toddler traits.
It is hard for me to manage the traits and translations with many separate packages. Sorry for that! You can use the reward version and only add the Gentle and Sensitive traits to the sims you want. NPC sims won't be generated with any reward traits! 😉

Ok but I thought that was what the "rewardver basic traits.package" was. I guess my main question is in trying to figure out which ones to download and which ones would conflict with each other. So do I download the rewardver basictraits.package and the Addon store basic.package but not the casver basictraits.package (because I'm assuming cas version and reward version are the same?)
Yes, you choose either casVer_BasicTraits or RewardVer_BasicTraits.
What is "Addon Store Basic.package? Is that a 3rd option to Basic Traits or Basic Traits Reward or is it a totally different package?
It's totally different. It makes the traits buyable in the Reward Store. I made voting asking people if they want the traits available to be purchased through the reward store and I received feedback that they want this option to be separated.
I have the mood pack. So I need to delete your P1 folder with the traits inside, like this post says and then just add the new "!chingyu_addon_LumpinouMoods.package" now? I don't see a download with a folder containing the P 1 traits. So you merged them into one package file now?

Chu~ Should I put !chingyu_addon_LumpinouMoods directly into the mods folder instead of placing it in the same one as the traits? (For example, my current variant looks like this: Mods - chingyu1023_100 TRAITS BUNDLE - (other folders like chingyu_100TRAITSPACK_P1_V2).
I suggest putting all ! files directly in your Mod folder.😉
Does turning off the buff completely remove it or just removes the persistent buff? For example my neurotic sim, will he never get the tense buff from the trait if I turn it off? Or is it like a buff that can happen randomly like Hot-Headed or Gloomy?
You can turn off the tense buff by the Always Disable Core Buffs or Temporarily Disable Core Buffs. I also lower the tense buff to +1 and make it disappear when Sims are in good mood!
