FILE 0003 [STATUS: PARTIALLY RECOVERED]

This one came through as a photo, not a document. No metadata, no filename that makes sense just "1_n.png". Someone was in a hurry when they grabbed this.
But it matches. Exactly what the tracker described.

Gothic windows. Private. Expensive-looking. Two desks, facing each other across a rug that costs more than our monitors combined. One corkboard, wall-to-wall, covered in string, photos, question marks, a chalk outline. "MISSING" tagged twice. "dead" tagged once, lowercase, like whoever wrote it couldn't bring themselves to capitalize it.

Someone in the office chairs is missing from the photo. Two desks, two chairs, and only one of them looks used: papers open, books stacked, magnifying glass out. The other side looks staged. Waiting for someone.

We still don't have names. We still don't have headcount. What we have is a room that looks like it's been solving something for a while and a board that raises more questions than the last one did.
