Weekly DevBlog Update 20/04
Hey patrons, welcome back to the city where the billboards wink, the crosswalks hesitate, and the night keeps a list of your better ideas and your worst ones.
Hope your week treated you better than a rental spell. If it didn’t, just say you were “beta testing reality”. Sounds official. No one questions it.
This week’s survival tip from the magical realms: if a charming stranger offers a “shortcut ritual”, ask where it cuts to. If the answer is “trust me,” you should not.
Here’s what has been simmering in our late-shift workshop.
• Cooked up 81 new renders with slow-burn tension, reckless chemistry, and a couple of moments that might fog up your screen.
• Crafted 3 animations that bring the magic in close, then closer, until it feels personal.
• Added new activity scenes to keep your nights sharp, tempting, and just a little off the map.
• Polished upcoming dialogues until every line sounded like a dare dressed as a compliment.
You might have noticed the alpha taking a little longer than usual. That’s on us. This drop grew bigger than planned, and we decided not to cut corners where it matters. More scenes, more polish, more of the good stuff you’re here for.
That’s our after-hours mix for this week.

Wait, this reality ISN'T a beta test? Don't tell me this is still alpha... it's production!? Who the hell coded this thing, a brain damaged monkey with a crayon? Oh, He did... released it about 14 billion years ago, did he? Big success, you say? Might even say it went off with quite a bang, huh? Yeah, I still say it was rushed and needed further dev time. But you know publishers and their deadlines "get it to production, we'll patch the bugs later", but then they never get to all the bugs... how else do you explain the platypus, hmmm?
