Weekly DevBlog update 14/07

Howdy, dear Patrons!

Welcome to our weekly DevUpdate. As per usual, we'd like to start with one of the numerous pieces of advice that wizards have to offer to humans:

Wizards are often afraid of mandragora roots because their voice can make you dizzy, sick, overly agitated, and intoxicated. But so are so many of the top Spotify charts these days. So don't you ever change your music preferences, humanity! It helps build immunity to mandragora screams.

More importantly, we wanted to shed some light on the development of our new project. This week, we've focused on proofreading and rewriting a good half of the first release dialogues, because sometimes you have to sacrifice some progress to make sure a perfect concuction of style, mystery and seduction is created.

But, surely, you're wondering if there's an easy way to find out what was done last week. And there is a list:

• Finished designing 3 new characters, with minor roles in first releases but a potential to steal both the spotlight and your hearts.
• Finished 2 more new locations.
• Finished polishing more new game mechanics to make sure everything works like clockwork.
• Finished rewriting dialogues for Intro scenes.
• Finished implementing game mechanics into storytelling.
