Patron opinion poll: 2-Piece vs 3-Piece Updates
Just wondering what the vibes are between these 2 types of Updates.
3-Piece Updates allow me to make SFW(ish) intros that give set up the NSFW content and allow me to reach more people in social media (X Severely limits reach of NSFW pics), while the classic 2-piece Updates allow enough variations that each pic feels like a small event.
I have to take into account other stats when deciding on what to do, but I'd love to see what patrons vote for (free/former patrons can vote too, so the raw results here may not represent current paid patron's opinion without me checking manually on my side).
I'll assume non-voting patrons don't care either way, so if you have an opinion, make sure you vote!

Do whatever you need to do
In my opinion, the 3-piece updates are fine. Perhaps implementing 2-piece updates for characters that have already been repeated in many updates (like MHA or OP) would give more space to the others. But it's best to do what you think is best Neo
Hmm, well the 2-piece sets take about as much time as the 3-piece due to the number of variations I do, so it'd not give more space really... I'll think hard about this and try to stay flexible whenever possible (really gotta try to find a faster style, at least for the SFW intros!)
Honestly some context to what leads to a NSFW situation is good both for your Patreon and for your Twitter account as a teaser.
I really love the 3-piece updates, but maybe my only issue with it is that there usually isn't any anal. However, I really love that it starts with SFW in case I want to set it as my phone wallpaper, because your art is amazing! But in the end, just do what you feel most comfortable with!
Nice insight, thanks. Don't worry I'll throw in some more anal pics from time to time, especially with chars I've drawn once already.
I'm not really sure why you think twitter limits lewd stuff, there is an entire ecosystem of NSFW content and the algorithm is constantly pushing it to your feed if you engage with anything anime related even a little bit
My NSFW art went from getting 15k likes regularly to less than 5k right around the time Elon got a hold of twitter and it hasn't recovered ever since. It's possible that my account is specially fucked compared to a brand new one (mine was permanently marked as posting sensitive content by twitter even before Elon took over), but from what I've seen from other artists it seems to be a big deal nowadays.
It's well known that giving an artist more freedom is usually more beneficial. Sometimes fans take advantage of the situation and only try to ruin the rest of the fandom and force the artist to do things they don't want to do. The best results are achieved with heart. Letting you do what you want in this area is about giving yourself a little more freedom
In my opinion, I think there could be a balance between the three-piece and two-piece updates. I can't deny that the current format is good for providing context and setting up everything that's about to happen; however, what comes after that feels a bit shortened, as if something is missing. That's exactly what made the two-piece sets work so well: you had a detailed sequence that, as you yourself mentioned, felt like a small event. I think that by taking the best elements of both formats, it would be possible to find a middle ground where no important aspects are lost.
Whichever you want Neo. Especially if it helps you in anyway. 🫡💝
