I mean 3D is perfect! but it will take a lot of recourses of phones/tablet/pc which i will prefer to use more in talks/actions/sex scenes 🥰
For me, HC has much better movement, because unlike DD you see the entire character moving on the screen and not just a photo of the character in the corner while you choose where to go.
I'd be down for a mix of both, 2d BG + Walk. HC's 3D in the streets didn't do much, and for places like the park a top-down view is enough
I'm surprised by so many votes for the 2D click movement.

Both are fun to me, so I can't decide it... :p
What's easier on you, the programmer to implement?
Not too different. Each has its troublesome because I always make things complicated. lol
