Dev Update - Episode 2 Revamp, Episode 4 and more!

I wanted to give you guys an update on what we're currently working on and all the exciting things to come!
Episode 2 Revamp
There is no way for us to let people properly play one episode without having played all previous episodes. Even though we've added a number of scenes to Episode 2 back in December, we're very aware that it has some fundamental issues that require deeper changes.
With Episode 3 out of the way, we thought it'd be good to revisit Episode 2. We're currently working a revamp that will add new core storylines, remove others (such as the Amber detective storyline) and overhaul all existing scenes. We'll be adding a large amount of new scenes and sex scenes with the goal of Episode 2 feeling completely different, much more in line with the College Kings you know and love, and worthy of replaying.
This update will come Summer 2023 and we hope that it will cement the longevity of College Kings, as we have lots more content planned for the future!
Episode 4
Episode 4 is fully outlined and partly written. We know a lot of you are wishing for longer, meatier episodes. So with Episode 4 we'll be splitting the episode into two halves, each of which is aimed to be roughly the size of Episode 3, so Episode 4 will hopefully be about twice the length of Episode 3.
On Patreon you'll have the ability to play the first half when it's done if you don't want to wait, or you can wait for the second half to be finished.
You can expect both Episode 4 part 1 and the full Episode 4 to come out later this year.
Other Changes
Episode 3 Steam Achievements have now been added, for all of you completionists out there!
Episode 3 will be getting minor changes and adjustments when the Episode 2 revamp is out to ensure everything lines up.
Lastly, we've been doing a major code clean up for both CK1 and CK2 with the hopes that it should drastically reduce saves issues, especially for save transfers, which will be released soon.

Well I share your point of view on returning to Episode 2 and also love that Episode 4 is going to be so extensive one. Great update!

Total respect to Steve for still wanting to correct CK2 episode 2. He has shown he wants to continue and improve, that for me says a lot about how he want to give us the players and how he respects us. Thanks Steve and team!! As for episode 4 this sounds great..... And I can't wait!!!!
Yes the 2nd Amber detective scene was horrendous as was the whole video game scene, the lauren underwear angle.was alright & the pool party was weak. Definitely since the campaign result the series has gone downhill.
I liked detective amber the first time..it was hilarious ... the 2nd one was vague and pointless...all for more detective stuff but it cant exist as content filler without furthering the story...the interactions with other characters were fun but the apes interviews were cringe and instead of getting info to make a theory, everyone just sent us to the next person...making it cool like the first time would help
I know that the majority hates the detective amber story but I liked it and find it sad to hear that it will be removed.
I completely understand, we looked thoroughly at how to improve Episode 2 and we just could not find a way to make it stay. The episode 1 Amber detective part will stay in the game :)
Great news again, I didn't realize you were going to revamp ep2 to such a degree, I hope that means reaction to you taking over ep3 so positive that you are inspired..... we players don't know much, but we sure know what we like about CK
Happy to hear you’re taking the episode 2 revamp seriously! I also hope the save transfer issues get resolved soon as well. It’s just deeply frustrating to do all that hard work in CK1 and then have it mean nothing because CK2 doesn’t recognize it. Hopefully this will be the last time changes will have to be made for past updates
