RAVN Quest: Playtest Material (June 2025)

Greetings!

For those of you with early access (Patrician and above) this month's first playtest material release adds a new ancestry, the Mycelian!

The Mycelian people are connected to each other through their manacelium network, this is much like mycelium with the key difference being it is not an entirely physical structure. This manacelium network connects each colony of Mycelian through physical and magical links.

Each Mycelian tribe can vary significantly and they do not share manacelium networks. A new tribe of Mycelians begins with the inoculation of a living creature. Before the creature dies it can spread the spores to other creatures it comes in contact with, when death occurs the inoculated body is hijacked by the fungus. When a body is hijacked the Mycelian may be able to access some or all of the host's ancestral traits!
