OE Pro Tune V3.1.2 Update!

Here's what's new since 3.1.1.

Wheelie Control
There's a brand new Wheelie Control page under ECU Settings, right below Traction Control. When a hard launch lifts the front wheels, the ECU trims engine torque just enough to hold the nose near your target angle, then brings the power back smoothly. It only pulls torque, so it won't push the car down or mess with like the suspension, and it works alongside Traction Control. It's off by default and works on RWD and AWD cars. There's a lesson for it too.

Nitrous
NOS got a big rework. If your car has BeamNG's nitrous kit fitted, you can now shape the spray by gear, by speed, or both, and set a max kit duty. The fuel safety is smarter too. It cuts the spray on a real lean, rich or low fuel pressure problem and comes back once you lift, and you can adjust those limits or switch it to warnings only if you like living dangerously. NOS power now also depends on having enough fuel to back it up. All the new caps start at 100%, so your current tunes spray the same as before.

Diesel
Diesels get a new Detailed diesel model on the Diesel Tuning page. Turn it on and the pump, rail and injectors get real limits, so cranking up Max fuel can't push past what the hardware can deliver, and the page tells you what's holding you back. You also get sliders for fuel rise time, fuel before boost, injection timing and pilot injection. On top of that there's optional towing heat protection and a cold start model where a cold diesel needs its glow plugs before it fires. The clatter now reacts to injection timing and cold running, and diesels can run NOS for the first time with a dry kit. It's off by default and needs a real BeamNG diesel engine.

Rotational Idle
Rotational Idle rebuilt. It does a steady brap on a normal healthy tune now, so you don't have to wreck your idle cells anymore. It also has its own idle pulse sounds that other BeamMP players hear too. There are new Idle rhythm and Idle pulse volume sliders. It only runs when you're stopped, off the throttle and in neutral or park (or with the clutch in), and it's gasoline only now.

Pops
If you use the "Car's own only" pop sound, your tuned bangs now actually play with the car's own afterfire sound, straight out of the exhaust. Before, that mode just turned up the random afterfire and could end up sounding muffled.

Other stuff

  • 7 new lessons (34 total). The new ones run on a temporary copy of your tune and put it back when you're done

  • Fixed a bug where leaving a lesson could change your injector size

  • New nitrous, diesel and wheelie readouts on Runtime Values, the Basic Dashboard, logs and Log Studio

  • Better Tune Doctor advice for diesels

  • For BeamMP remote tuning, both players need to be on 3.1.2
