Announcement of the start of the 1997 Track Pack project
I'm excited to announce a new collaboration project with ASR Formula: the Assetto Corsa F1 1997 Track Pack!
After successfully releasing the F1 1992 Track Pack together, I'm now working on recreating the 1997 Formula One season.
Many of the circuits in this project will be based on my previously released F1 1998 tracks, updated and modified to accurately reflect their 1997 layouts and trackside details.
Round 1 Melbourne and Round 2 Interlagos are currently in progress.
I'd also like to ask for your feedback.
Some circuits, such as Jerez, have already been released with both 1994 and 1997 layouts. For the new Track Pack, which approach would you prefer?

Option A: Include these circuits again as dedicated TrackName_1997 releases for consistency across the entire pack.
Option B: Exclude circuits that already have a 1997 layout available to avoid duplicate files.
Please let me know which option you prefer via the survey. Your feedback will help determine the final structure of the pack.
Thank you for your continued support!

Option B since you've already done that with some 1998 tracks that were released as stand-alone and later were incorporated into one file with multiple years. It's much easier and take less space :) also as Alfonso said it'd be nice to have a proper stand-alone version of Buenos Aires (maybe a GP4 port?), even if it is a downgrade from H22's mod.
Thank you for your feedback. Option B would require less effort on my part. As you pointed out, it would also save on storage space.
I hope there will be a proper version of Buenos Aires as well...
I plan to update and use the ACF (Assetto Corsa Fanboy) version (the original is probably AMS1).
