My favorite Emma storyline is when she goes to meet her dad

My favorite “Emma storyline” although not exclusive to emma herself was the rick storyline. Her slowly coming around to rick and defending him, then the shooting and her path after as she goes through all these different things to cope. Honestly something about her in that storyline felt different to me and really hit me. Especially in the scene a few days after when she returns to school and is crying to snake about how people won’t stop looking and whispering about her and tells Sean how he saved her life.

Probably one of my favorite episodes was her ed storyline. Very powerful. I can relate to some of it and just losing control at the end. Just hit me pretty hard.

I just like how Emma spoke up for herself no matter how difficult it was in many story lines

My favorite Emma sorry line is when she begins to spiral out after the shooting because it was a different side of her that we’d never seen before!

I love any storyline where Manny and Emma get through it together! They are my favorite best friends. My favorite line from them is “we’ve always gotten through together, don’t go changing the formula!” 💜

My favorite Emma moment is when she got her cycle and told off (someone?!?) maybe JT? But she was a QUEEN for that!!

My favorite Emma storyline is the blaze one because I thought it was so hilarious! I was like no way they are going this hard for it lmao and her reaction was so crazy “wanna like… Blaze?” Lmao

My favorite Emma storyline is the one when she was anorexic because I know how it was to be anorexic and the fact they had shined light on it was amazing and it helped. Then also the one where she got her period in school and she wasn't embarrassed and talked about it in class

My favorite Emma storyline is her Blaze storyline. I feel like this moment was the true start of her path toward being married to Spinner (which I am a shameless defender of).

OMGGG my favorite Emma moment is for sure her entire storyline with Sean!! Definitely should’ve been endgame🥰

My favorite storyline is when Emma searches for her biological father, Shane, in season 2. I understood why she jumped straight into finding him without listening to her mom first, because she just wanted answers. When she actually meets him and sees his condition, she realizes the situation is totally different than she expected. I am adopted, and I completely related to her feelings of wanting to know where she comes from. Miriam played those emotions so well!

Having gotten my first computer and my first real exposure to the internet only a few years after the very first episode of TNG, Mother and Child Reunion Parts 1&2 still kind of hits hard for me even today.. I also related to Emma a lot when she wanted to search for and found her biological father, Shane McKay, because I was in her shoes in my own life, so that storyline hit close to home so much for me.. I loved the STD storyline with Jay in the ravine, and the aftermath when Sean found out. Emma's anorexia storyline hits different after you read and listen to the interviews from Miriam regarding her own real-life struggles with an ED from the very beginning of the show.. I was a huge Sean/Emma shipper growing up.. but after all this time.. I think the Spinner/Emma Niagara Falls Drunken Marriage storyline, while I still think it was completely insane.. I think there may be something unexpected and wholesome about it too.. especially if they actually ended up staying married all these years later. Love can be unexpected at times.. I also liked how much Snake loved Emma and how much she loved him. She may not have been blood related, but she was his daughter.

the episode Touch of grey shows my favourite blaze storyline ;) i think we talked about it on last week's live briefly haha. With it being a funny episode ( although... poor Becca ) i love how it explores what college can feel like when you don't quite feel like you've found your people yet, or when you're trying so hard to fit in. though Emma isn't always in the right, I do find her really relatable. And ‘deciding to reinvent herself and choosing the name blaze for herself was absolutely hilarious🖤😂

My fave Emma storyline is hard to pick - the ED one felt so real and well done. And I also love her and Snake getting that father daughter bond over the years ♡♡ Also I wish we had seen her and Shane in later seasons

Her battle with anorexia was critically acclaimed for its raw, realistic portrayal of teenage body image struggles and recovery

the ED one because I felt seen when I was going through it also in grade 11.

Im not quite sure id this is considered one but I like her activism and rebellious phase

Honestly have quite a few but the storyline with her finding her birth father was one i found was done in a very captivating and emotional way

I was a big fan of her when she met up with Shane. But I also liked when she was suspended by Raditch and wouldn’t back down, it really showed how tough she was

I like majority of Emma's storylines but one of my favorites would have to be the relationship she grows to have with Snake after accepting him as her stepfather

My favorite Emma storyline Has to be with her friendship with manny it’s explore the relationship of their friendship on the high and lows on the challenges the relationship and how being young and the decision that we make effects us not only emotionally but physically in my eyes this story line goes though the whole time

I honestly enjoyed the whole purple dragon girl storyline, it was messy, but fun to see emma kinda give in to the whole attractive girl marketing, until she felt objectified and decided to protest against it, which is one thing we all know she's good at.

Her eating disorder one as I had family members going through that and know how hard of a struggle it is! It’s not easy to navigate but I thought they did really well with showing some of the struggles. I know it wasn’t easy for her to do that storyline either but it was very important!

i love so many fave emma storylines! but the one that i love the most is the purple dragon storyline! it brought a lot of confidence out of her. i also like how it showed it impacted her previous eating disorder. like she thought about relapsing when looking in the mirror and telling snake she wasnt hungry. but then when snake questioned it i feel it made her realize “you know what, fuck it! this is my body and im proud!” and that is something really strong! it showed that she came a long way from her eating disoder storyline but i felt it was important to show that ppl still do struggle even after recovery. so im glad the writers wrote that in!

My favorite emma storyline is when she takes manny in when she gets kicked out. They were having some problems but she was a good friend through it.

Favorite Emma storyline would probably have to be when she returned to Degrassi with Kelly for the Re-cycle project and the cross country bike thing and tells Snake that she failed her courses and doesn't want to return to Smithdale. it put a light on the fact that its okay to defer and not rush if you are not truly ready and need time to figure out what you want to do post high school. as someone who also needed a year off it resonated with me. it's not like a major storyline but its one that stuck with me. a close second would have to be when she got to meet her dad.

My favorite Emma storyline is probably when she goes to meet her real dad. It was nice to see that part of her life, even though it was a little sad. I feel I would've done the same thing in her shoes.

My fav Emma storyline is honestly the Rick storyline, I know it wasn’t a major one for her but it was one that I feel shaped her moving forward. It helped turn her into the young adult by the end of her run

My favorite storyline is when Sean comes back and they kiss in the car. Then he keeps referring to her as the perfect girl but then finds out about jay. I included a similar storyline in my Degrassi spin off about the grads from season 5 and 7 10 year reunion. Sean comes back from the army and gives Emma a ride home and they kiss in the car (she is still married to spinner at this point!) but not for long.

I thought her ed storyline was wonderfully well acted and important so though its an unfortunate one i’d say its my favorite

My favorite Emma storyline I like the storyline in the very first episode where we get introduced to everybody and the reunion and just how people learning about how kids can be very trustworthy and how people from the Internet can deceive by just being a kid. It just was a great storyline and we really see Emma‘s characteristics, personality, and leading up to later episodes of how Emma‘s character and she also changed so I really like the storyline how the Internet is a very scary place and still is us today, but people know more

My favorite storyline which might be a sad one but when Emma at one point was anorexic but I love how it shines a light on a topic that isn’t talked about much on television

Honestly the whole STD situation with Jay and the ravine was dark but super impactful to me and a lot of teens. (Also I loved her Purple Dragon protest moment LOL )
