⭐️ End of Year Write-Up ⭐️
I wanted to take the time to appreciate everyone here, whether you've been here since the beginning, or you just found Take Off - thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
I feel like a lot happened this year but there were more things I should've done, whether it's actually completing the first physical volume for the main series, or writing longer chapters and publishing more frequently, or finally working on that new series that's been in development hell forever - there's a lot I haven't done due to my own lacking in skills and poor management, and every time I write "I apologise for the wait" I always hope it's the last but it never is. I am really sorry.
2023 is about to end, and hopefully things can get back on track once I am caught up in January - new year, slightly-improved-me, we hope!! I wanted to set some goals for 2024, but also be realistic in recognising and reconciling with where my current skills as an artist and a writer stand. In 2024, I hope to:
Publish Take Off Season 1 the book 📚
Work on the omegaverse AU, even if it's just a tidbit of progress (yes, I haven't forgotten...!! ToT) ⚠️Spoilers for anyone intrigued: it will be about frat men and Andrew will be the president of the Alpha Chapter of the Tri-Alpha Fraternity, ow yeah
Work on concept art and draft episodes for a new series 👀
Thank you all in the meantime for always being so encouraging and supportive even as I stumble as a storyteller. I truly, truly apologize for the rewrite, and I hope I can do the story justice. Thank you, for reading Take Off! I am forever grateful that this story of these two silly boys is able to cross paths with so many of you :")

happy new year！The e-book of Zine2 will be distributed this month,in January?
Happy New Year! Is there a place to purchase an e-book version of the first Zine? I purchased both in print and they are beyond gorgeous. I’d like them to stay that way so I don’t want to handle them too much. Having the e-book version one #1 would help with that. Thx!

I just found your story recently and am so happy I did! I think your story telling is amazing, and it's totally understandable to have set backs and delays. I think striving for improvement is the most important thing, and it's endearing how much time and effort you put into everything. Gosh I remember first finding Take Off on Tapas before the boys even were interested in each other on the plane! It’s amazing to see how far this story has come. You are an incredible writer and artist, Jui! We are so thankful for everything you give us and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you and our boys!

Oh wow. I'm in awe of the many, many things you already have accomplished and the exciting things that are yet to come. Wow💜 I loved the original idea, but I also love your rewrite very much. You did great! It's so cute that Andrew was so immersed into his story telling that he didn't notice how hooked Nathan was the whole time. And Nathan is such a great listener! Aw and that cutie even reminds Andrew of the papers he did and Nathan read ( and boy was he hooked on those!). The way Nathan describes the way of Andrew's writing is just amazing. You can really tell how much he enjoyed to read them and the attention he payed to the details & just how good Andrew's writing skills already are ( So are we Nathan? And you are Andrew? Because it would fit!). Nathan just casually gave Andrew one of the biggest compliments ever. And it is so Andrew like to jump right into the next thing and throw out a heavy question like that, because he knows he should tell Nathan the truth. I'm excited to see how this part of the story unfolds further. And the changed part where they are now sitting while being caught. It feels also very much like them because those two would get so immersed into each other and their conversations to not notice someone / something until it's too late. Very sweet! But the question still stands :Will they run? Will they hide? What is going to happen? The tension is also very much palpable here! Honestly, how could we not love those two silly boys? Jui thank you and your team for a great 2023! You did amazing and worked so hard! Hope your 2024 will be brilliant!💜
This is fantastic. Of course I liked the original comic, but the way you've changed it is wonderful! I love that Nathan tells Andrew about his writing, and I love how he listened respectfully about the story. I also enjoyed that they weren't caught this time walking around, but rather, caught still sitting on the table, completely focused on each other. Your art is as always gorgeous, the boys are lovely and so sweet. I wonder if Andrew will ever tell the truth about his experience, and honestly this seems like a fabulous springboard to be truthful. I'm so sad for Andrew, being so nervous, thinking he's not good enough, when Nathan is just like "you may be the hottest and sweetest man alive" at him, haha. Andrew, be honest! Nathan may be upset about the lie, but he'll understand!
