Paperback for each SFW series as it comes out, then once the story is complete - a collated hardback of every series, with the options for SFW and NSFW. I’d prefer uninterrupted panels and the mini stories at the back of the book. Also send to UK please :)

Kickstarter is a fantastic route to go; however, depending on shipping an online store works well.

1. I think the AU stuff is really cute/nice, and they never felt disruptive. They simply felt like a chance of pace from the typical stories. It also gave us some background to who the characters were as children, which is a cool insight. If you personally feel that they are disruptive I'd say to include them as extras in the back of the book. 2. I would ABSOLUTELY be interested in a physical copy. 3. I think Kickstarter would be a solid way to get backing, so people can have more options and it will give you more time to get the money you need. You'd also then have access to all of the books after funding, so extras could be sold on your site from the first batch.

If season 1 is SFW I think I would be cute to have the extras too! Reminds me of the manga I used to read growing up ☺️

Maybe the Standard version could be just the main story comic, and the Hardcover version have some extras? Idk, I think that you should do a Hardcover version in any case scenario, it would be sooo good for people (like me) that live far away from you and from the UStates, 'cause sometimes regular books are not shipped with enough care :c

I would love a hardcover of the book! I think something like a coffee/tea mug would be awesome merchandise. I have the city scene postcard and some of the art framed in my office but I do drink a lot of coffee and tea. lol It would be really neat to have a mug with either the Take Off logo or something cute or beautiful on it of Andrew and Nathan.

One way you could include the extra comics would be to put them at the end as an extra bonus section, that way it wouldn't interrupt the story but people can still enjoy it.

I think you have to really think through shippings options because you did such a hard job all alone to ship worldwide and it would be a shame if merchandising’ shipping is limited to a few countries or very expensive for countries of than the US. For the extra comics, you can always do all them as a separate mini book, like the first season would be volume one and the extras can be 1.5. Hardcover is good if there are a lot of pages, but sometimes It can be a bit uncomfortable to read, maybe the soft cover could have like a sleeve/cover to protect the book, kinda like usually mangas have. About merch, cute stickers, bookmarks, prints or enamel prints are good options. I think doing a kickstarter can help you to advertise the book more? And people can upgrade if they want to before the deadline, giving more chances for people to wait until they get paid, etc.

I'm so excited! Most of my physical copies are the paperback versions and I agree with some other comments that you could include the extras as bonus content after the main story. I love fun extras like pins, stickers for my water bottles, keychains, etc. I like having a combo deal option!

I think any design you do for a sticker would translate well for an enamel pin! I’d be more likely to purchase a paperback copy of season 1, but I know people who collect hard cover when they can get it. As for deciding to include extras or not, I’m always happy to have more of the boys! And I’d absolutely be happy to join the crowdfunding!

Turning your comic into a book is such exciting news! I would definitely be interested in a special hardcover version of the book! But I think either a paperback or hard cover version of the book would do well, so many people live Andrew and Nathan ❤️ I love stickers and pins as merch. Some other ideas could be keychains or acrylic stands. Not sure how in demand those would be but I love being able to display little things from the media I love on my desk and shelves.

You could even do something similar with the NSFW content like you have separate copies for each season but then an option to have it all in one book. Merch would be awesome!!! T-shirts, stickers, keychains, postcards, bookmarks, patches, etc would be awesome to have and you could experiment with the different designs.

Maybe adding something like some pic from the future? Some illustration? Some "at that time I would never thought..."? Maybe an exclusive postcard? But, also without extras content would be fine.

I usually buy paperbacks because of the price, but I honestly have to admit that I am not quite as likely to purchase without the NSFW stuff included (so I am really glad you mentioned that beforehand). But I would definitely add the bonus stories to the back, especially since the entire comic is still available online for free. And I do like bonuses and bundles on kickstarter, as long as they don't raise the total price more than maybe ~50%? Otherwise, I would rather pick and choose loose merchandise from a shop. But that is just me and my poor wallet...

A book is the ultimate must-have, but I think stickers, pins, keychains, plushies could be ideas for merch too! Keychains/charms and prints are always good choices for merch (prints and stickers allow for a “flat merch” option that is usually pretty popular). Also what about including the extra comics (saw or nsfw) in a pdf add on or as a stretch goal if you go the kickstarter route.

Honestly as an Australian shipping usually means that even if I want to support a physical copy I cannot. 95% of the time shipping is charged at as much as or more expensive than the object I am buying or pledging for, so I'm afraid I'm unlikely to buy physical copies >w< I will continue to support the patreon for as long as I can though <3

Despite that I would still to purchase whatever physical books you wish to release. Merch outside of books I would want all the extras as a separate book would be nice. Stickers and keychains unique to “Take Off,” would be super cool. In regards to crowdfunding/website, I’m ok with whichever it’s honestly your call on what you feel comfortable with doing. In regards to merchandising I'm really bad for these things but posters/cards are easy to ship and store and I'd honestly wear a Take off t-shirt as long as it's child friendly as I'm a mom and preschool teacher 😂 I see some artists also go the plushie route, it seems to be quite popular.
