šØLife Update - Creator Diary #3šØ
Hello everyone! It's me again. š
Iāve been away for a while. Actually, whilst I was working on the collection Iām currently working on, I developed an unexpected skin problem (particularly on my left foot). At first I thought it was just a rash, but when it started to spread, I went to see a doctor. She said it was a fungal infection and that it was natural for it to occur due to the hot weather in summer [and it was quite hot in Istanbul at the time], so she prescribed a few creams. Despite using them for a month, the area didnāt heal and the redness actually started to get worse. For that reason, my doctor decided to take a skin sample. So I had a minor operation. Although it was minor, she said I needed to rest for a few days.
[I didnāt want to show my fingers, but I can show them like this. :P]
Iām doing well now. I had the dressing removed and I managed to sit down at the computer today. Next week, Iāll get the results and have my stitches removed. Because of this, the deadline for completing the collection has naturally been delayed.
Since this has happened, I thought it would be nice to tell you about the process of creating the collection. (I havenāt done this for ages ā I might make a habit of it :P)
As you know, Iād created the Lorenzo Accessories Set. The aim of making that first was to create a clothing collection to complement those accessories (like the Streetfall Collection). Thatās why Iād prepared a mood board in advance. A collection with an āold moneyā style and an Italian vibe. Open-necked shirts, polo shirts, belted trousers/shorts and loafers. I wanted to create a preppy shoulder jumper to complement these shirts and polos. (There arenāt many in the base game apart from one, so why not make a different version?)
Hereās part of my mood board. Along with what Iāve described above, Iām planning to make plain, patterned and crocheted versions of these outfits.
First off, hereās the high-poly version Iād finished earlier. The details and so on are all sorted. Iām currently working on the low-poly versions of some of them.
Due to this unexpected skin condition, I thought it would be better to add a few more pieces to this collection rather than finishing and publishing it straight away, and then releasing it in its complete form.
So, Iāve quickly made another version of the sweater with the shoulder detail, a pair of wide-leg trousers (thereāll also be beltless and shorts versions), a T-shirt and a bag. Alongside these, Iām thinking of making some sunglasses too ā thereāll be different versions of those as well, but I havenāt modelled them yet.
So, thatās what Iāve got to show you. What do you think? The collection has grown a little as Iāve added a few more pieces. Iām not sure if Iāll be able to finish it by the end of July, but I reckon I can have it ready by the start of August. (Provided, of course, that nothing serious comes up ā weāll know by next week.) But with this update, Iāll try to keep you informed every week. There might also be some short tutorials thrown in (explaining how I make these).
Thank you in advance for reading! šItās turned into quite a long post, hasnāt it? š„²

Fungal infections can be tricky. Take good care of your foot because those infections can be disastrous. I hope you feel better soon & dont worry about the collection. Don't rush & release it when you can š. I at least will be willing to wait.
Thank you so much for your kind message! I looked carefully and thoroughly during this process, but It turned out that there was another illness. :)
