I commented on a previous page that they were positioned like the birth of Adam, and if you’ll let me torture the metaphor a little bit, a2 was in god’s position in that one, and a1 was in Adam’s so, and so them being barely separated in the last couple pages (especially their HANDS, fuck me running) is just like in that painting and now a2 is the one closing the distance? Like I know we think of a2 as being obsessed with a1 like a god, and a2 will grovel and worship and crawl across glass. but like. In this tortured metaphor, a1 just got touched by the hand of god, and I choose to believe it’s gonna set off something magical and tragic. ESPECIALLY given what I think their names are. SORRY for the ramble. I just can’t stop thinking about them and the Implications of religious imagery.

I glanced at the first panel and was like “oh hey look they’re actually making eye contact” but looking closer NOPE eyes closed. MY DUDES. But they’re so tender when they are looking at each other. And the pinky touch! A2 initiating contact!! I am obsessed and can’t believe this chapter is over 😭😭😭
