*WIP* soft hannibal

oh my god. i never knew he could look so sweet till this drawing. vatican thank you for providing this neal

the way he’s looking at the cup has me thinking of a scenario in which hannibal always makes his own tea because he’s picky, and will keeps trying to make him the perfect cup but falls a little bit short each time, despite the quality slightly improving over the weeks. hannibal still drinks them, because they’re so lovingly made, but adds a small teasing comment with every one about how it could be better. one day when hannibal is sick in bed he begrudgingly asks will for a cup and is prepared to get his usual, just a little bit off but still made by will, but this time…it’s perfect, as if he made it himself. he can’t stop himself from smiling. will pulls out a small piece of paper from his pocket, crumpled up with scribbled writing in different pens. will was watching hannibal make his own tea for weeks and was keeping track of his suggestions as to what the perfect cup of tea was. hannibal is once again reminded just how smitten he is with will, and the lengths will will go to make sure he knows he’s loved.
