I do like the different ways you can read this. A2 not hearing the full stop at the end of A1's question, "make me...?" instead of "make me?" and offering something light and comforting. I also like reading it as A2 knowing full well what A1 is asking and refusing in the gentlest way possible, in the only way he can because god forbid they talk about anything directly :)) having a good time

Ugh, like as much as a1 wants it he can't allow himself to want a2 and the only way he can get what he want is if a2 forces him (elaborate rituals/gothic heroine coded) but that's (probably) what he did with Thomas cause he (a1) should want to do *that* with some one he loves, Thomas wouldn't do that with him if he didn't love a1, right? So his desire and shame and disgust and lust are all twisted and melded together until they can't be separated so why can't a2 just make him? 🥺😭💔 (Ouch, I hurt my own feelings with that one)
