My initial thoughts have to do with: maybe a2 had a Goodyear racecar toy? The cyclops chapter in Ulysses references a guys wife cheating on him which could reference several things in the comic but I’m not sure how it would connect to Goodyear mug? The odyssey is largely a story about coming home from war— maybe this has to do with them reuniting after a2 leaves the military?

Okay I notice a letter/bill has been placed over the vintage Grand Canyon postcard….is that an additional clue?

i am reading our nonsense again with fresh eyes and im ready for some more pondering. are we looking for something else a2 would have asked a1 for? the mug and the painting would be colors he would see. did he ask to go to the grand canyon? we should have one more clue right just a little more guidance?

I absolutely love how A2 takes direction - no thought, no distraction, just “Okay. Whatever you say. You obviously know best, so I will do exactly what you tell me to do without question.” The devotion is delicious. 🤌
