Urgent message!

My advice is to not open or play your save file at all if you haven't yet!

But ...

If you already have you will only get ONE shot. If you are let into the 50x50 in Gnomecreek in build mode delete it immediately. Bulldoze the entire lot if it will allow you to! It might save your save file. What we've found it it will only let you in ONCE! After that, you get never ending loading screens or crashes. The first time, you might get it, after that something changes. Bizarre!

Steps:

1. Delete the lot. Save your save file via the menu option.

2. Don't attempt to exit to the map before saving.

3. Once you've saved you can exit the game itself (force close) and hope the save sticks. It's a chance to see if it will delete the lot and that it will “stick”. This change will not stick if you exit to the map. Some of us deleted successfully but then get stuck on a loading screen when exiting to the map.

4. Exit the game itself! Don’t attempt to go to “manage worlds”. “save as” and rename your save (save as in a new save slot). You won’t lose progress and you can play your save where you left off. Then exit the game completely. Via the menu. Exit the game itself. Don’t exit the lot.

5. If you’re let into the lot, try to change the venue type to “residential”. Save as. Then exit the game. Then re-load you game and hopefully the lot is deleted or you can access it with a family, move in and delete it that way. If you get to this point, you can message me!

I wanted to make sure you all knew! If you're given the shot to get into the lot delete IMMEDIATELY! You won’t be let in again.

The best advice I have for now is to wait for a fix from EA! And don’t play your save. But if you have updated and played we will try to help you so don’t hesitate to reach out and I will try my best to talk you through it!!
