Roadmap - 2023 - Part 2
I'm proud to present the Roadmap for the second half of 2023!
August - second part of the Easterners collection, with more huge monsters and deadly characters
September - final part of the desert theme, ending with savage camel-riding tribes and half-trolls
October - new models for the Welcome Trove heroes (including mounted models), fitting the current chapters + a resculpting of the original 18 models up to the current quality standard
November - culmination of the preparations that were taking place for the last couple of months, with huge evil ahead
December - long awaited chapter full of halfling militia (and their pesky adversaries) and terrain. Maybe a halfling customizer soon after in January?
After that chapter series is concluded, I'd like us to explore themes more freely.
So for example, a set of charriot riding mongol/asian tribes, some northern clans with woolly mammoths, perhaps extra customizer sets like one for the Allies of Gonthan and the Easterners, new sets of dwarves and elves + remastering of the old ones, abandoned ancient kingdoms...
Please let me know what you think in the comments and feel free to drop your own suggestions!

The Helm Hammer hand era is a good one. Lots of battles with easterlings and the Rohir, think there is an anime coming out soon for Inspiration!
First Age would be great, not only Elves but also the Houses of the Edayin and the first Easterlings. The tale of Turyn has a lot of characters and folk very approbriate to a skirmish game. Also cool would be earlier times of the 3rd age. The civil wars between Arthedayn, Cardolann and Rhudor, the wars between them and the Wytchrealm of Ankmar, but also the Northmen of Rhovannon - predecessors of the Horse People and their enemies from the East. Also the Inland sea of Rhoon surrounded by woods and hills/ mountains that could be the home of so far unknown Avari (maybe with a Sindaryn/ Noldho nobility) and Dwarves. And finally Dorwynion, the Land of the wine where Men from the North and East merged into a people and culture that spotrted elements of both of them.
*Just a note - I think for both the Corsairs and Numenor, a great tower might be the best terrain option. Something that could be either a lighthouse, or the house of a great lord.
But after that, I'm really looking forward to what comes next year - I'd love to see sets based around the theme of the Corsairs of Umbar, or -and I think it's even more exciting to my tastes and interests- a set with a more ancient Roman theme for the Numenoreans. (Something in between the Numenoreans at the intro of the first Peter Jackson film, and the Numenoreans of the new Amazon series would be pretty great, IMO. But, that's just me lol.)
I can't wait to see how the desert theme stuff pans out. A friend of mine went in on the Jordoba kickstarter years ago, and it's a good desert theme set, but the stuff here just adds to it immensely. It's really wonderful!
I'm delighted to hear that! 🥰
Can't wait for the Halfling Rebellion! Sounds amazing!
I'm exctatic to see that hobbits are coming this year! I'll finally be able to print my buddy the army he wants
Glad to hear that 😄
The ancient city of Gothdolin and Norgerthrond would be awesome and signature characters like Boren, Luthann and the great hound Hunn and all the Finnoreans, Tuos and Turis, the ashen Cloak...
That would be grand!
I would love to see more buildings and scenery!
Gotcha!
Crazy that the end (of this tale at least) is in sight, it's been an epic journey over the last couple of years. I definitely like the idea of bringing the original customisers up to the incredible level of the more recent ones. If you do revisit the Dwarves and Elves, I'd love to see some inspired by the Rings of Power designs, and maybe a few of the characters from the show alongside them!
Indeed, hard to believe! I'll see what can be done 😊
Epic scale miniatures and bases? :)
A 4 inch base monster coming next month - does that count as epic scale? 😄
Some suggestions: - Older historical dark riders - More terrain pieces for Osthold, Whitecaestar and Gonthan, and for the tower. Pieces to build out an area's buildings, and also scatter terrain.
I think the latter are fairly well covered with the Ivory City campaign 😄 As for historical minis - those for sure are under consideration!
Great schedule indeed! What about some more townfolks/villagers in different styles?
Thank you! Sounds great, I enjoy making those 😊
Halflings would be good I have about 5 Kick Starters worth of Hobbit homes/holes to go with them. Might be more actually.
How about heavily armored dwarf crossbowmen on mammoths or elephants
Sounds awesome!
The Halfling uprising is coming!! Prepare yourself o_o
Go small or go home!
I'm curious, will the remaster of the welcome trove include a version of Aranglor in Gonthan style armor? I'd love to see that. Or maybe as a part of a different set down the road
That one will be part of the Last Stand chapter ;)
Halfling customizer!! ❤ In savage tribes will there be infantry miniatures and some hero on a camel? I love all the roadmap and your work!
Yup, both! Thank you!
That all sounds great. I personally would like some type of Northern Dwarves with a different theme than the existing ones if possible.
More characters would always be appreciated, at least by me. Re doing the originals will be a great start, but there are plenty of them in the books that I haven’t found STL’s for yet from any sculptor…
Please shoot me a message with some list of what's lacking :)
I do like the sound of the release path. I really like that you do that, so few makers have a release path. Let's me know what's coming. I also saw you mentioned possibly next year doing some mammoths ... MAMMOTHS.... MAMMOTHS!!!!!! Yes please to that, they should more fun than giant elephants.
Thanks for the lovely feedback!
As long as we explore this world and similar ones I'll stay here and I am hyped for whats to come. I really would like goblin Tribes/Customizers. Was sad that we didn't get is with the Kickstarter all the way back and was always hoping it came around.
Goblin customizer can go on the menu as well!
Really love these ideas especially the ancient kingdoms one!
Glad to hear that! 😊
I stay with you ! I love what you do
Thank you so much 🥰🥰
