The Printing Goes Ever On - in space!
New Sci-Fi Project Is Coming!
We are starting a new Sci-Fi miniature line, and we want you to be part of building it from the ground up!
Lore Overview:
Earth was once a thriving world beneath its Veil, rich in oceans, forests, and life. But over time the planet began to decline. Ecosystems collapsed, resources vanished, and strange illnesses spread through overcrowded cities. No one truly understood the cause. Some believed humanity had exhausted its world. Others feared something far worse: an unknown force slowly weakening Earth and its Veil. As the planet deteriorated, wars broke out over the last remaining resources. In response, humanity reached into the Beyond, establishing off-world colonies to gather food, metals, and energy from other worlds in hopes of sustaining Earth. TO BE CONTINUED...

If this sounds interesting to you, please help us shape the future of this project by completing a short survey. By finishing it, you'll get to be an early subscriber to our Newsletter. Among other cool stuff, our first edition will send a special unlock link to the new Founder role here on Discord, made just for this new line (naming is subject to change, btw). Founders will have access to a secret channel where they will be able to:
Vote on upcoming designs.
Give direct feedback on lore and units.
Help us guide the development of this new universe.

I am so glad to read that this will be a separate sub, I love the fantasy figures you put out, and the Domini Republic figures I consider to be some of your best most adaptable figures you have done to date. No offense to those who like the sci-fi minis its just not something that I can really get into these days.
That's a win-win situation then! And thank you so much for the lovely feedback about the new direction we're taking with the fantasy releases - means a lot to hear that!
I am always interested in new SciFi minis and stories BUT I am not interested in more versions of power armored, carapace armored, etc. bi-pedal humanoids. The space is super-crowded with lots great variations. Aliens and non-standard tropes, designs, etc. is preferred
Gotcha! We will be starting with humans just because it's more approachable, but we'll be exploring more fun ideas soon after!
Honestly at this point Im ready for anything that is not 40k. Nothing against 40k, but after 25+ years I've done that. The issue is that 40k has left such a mental stamp on sci-fi people have a hard time thinking outside of it. I would like to see something in the Mass Effect vane of design. Clean. High-tech.
As a Mass Effect superfan, I can say that this is very much the direction I wanna go 😅 I'm glad to hear a similar sentiment about 40k!
I'm always up for more scifi but you're hitting a massively saturated market, clearly. I play 8-36mm, mainly 12mm and 18mm. If you could do something at about 18mm (top of head) that would scale nicely to 36mm, and also a less detailed version down at about 8-10mm that would be *great* as then I could game the same army across scales. Wardaddy does this really well by just doing a detailed-but-robust 16mm then blobbing those models slightly for the lower range? Just my tuppence anyway. I'm pretty much maxed out in the 28-36mm range so I'm looking generally for the mid- to lower scales now? 12-18mm is a lovely sweet spot for detail, board space and storage :).
Roger that :D
Will this be a separate subscription, and if so, will there be a path to switch from one to the other without losing subscription seniority?
It's going to be separate and parallel, so we are not mixing it with the fantasy stuff - less confusing this way. It's going to be on MMF only.
