I love both of them! Really funny and I love it.

I mean, both is fine...

A reminder for those who might have ADHD'd their way through European History class: The Goths were a Germanic tribe around during the late Roman Empire (ish, it's obviously more complicated but that's how it goes with history). They had a bunch of what I'll grossly oversimplify as "Viking" influences, hence the round shield and general aesthetic of the lovely lady on the right. The contemporary Goth style has a complicated history, but it stylistically draws it's roots from Victorian era "dress of mourning" (ie. funeral ware). They most probably cribbed the naming from Gothic architecture, which ironically, came into favor as a construction style because the trademark arches allows churches to build much higher ceilings which let the windows be bigger and for MORE light to come in. That's right kids, until we developed more advanced building techniques Gothic was the "brighter" option. Hopefully this PSA has been helpful and wasn't too condescending. Stay safe out there.
