What is SM5? I’m not opposed to upgrading a graphics card if that’s all it would take ( currently using rx580 and already have texture issues with this game.

We expect improvements in the two aspects, (1) content and (2) graphics. So, yes, do the upgrade, please. Graphics was reason #1 that pulled us to play and pay!

full send to UE5. when i first played the game, the graphics were the ones that really pulled me in. the horny became an after-thought. i'll upgrade my Graphics card if needed.

Even upgrading from Unreal 4 to 5 still has challenges. If they release the UE5 version before they have had a chance to do the necessary excess work it will have a few more bugs and issues with just what they have now. Any engine shift, even an upgraded engine running on the same base core, causes issues. I want more options to the game, not necessarily better graphics. The graphics are pretty good as they are.

This seems like the kind of game that should ALWAYS be upgrading to the most cutting edge graphical improvements.

I originally came to this game because it's beta had VR support I'd rather that get focus than going to UE5, besides the game visually is fine as is.

Moving to UE5 is a mistake at this time. VR support, adding all existing content to Gallery mode, and fleshing out the game itself is far more important at this point.

I haven't been involved for long and I think it's a really great project. I can see that the project has already been running for a few years and therefore I can understand everyone who has said no. I voted yes, but only because I still have a lot to unlock. What I miss most about the game is the interaction with other online players and playing as a male gender. I also don't understand why this is not already in the game as everything it needs is there. If an online player is in a scene, another player could actively join that scene. Or a player standing around could invite another player to a scene. I think something like this is needed in the game so that many players who already have everything don't quit when you make the switch to UE5 (which will take some time I think).

Lumen and Nanite could definitely a huge improvement (especially Lumen).

Tbh, the game have poorly performance even when i have 3080ti it still lag at first and the fps is not as i expected, just ensure the game runs smoothly then everything is fine with me.

Every project I've seen attempting this switch ran into massive problems with only marginal improvements to show for it. Let alone the significant performance problems that came with the new version even on high-end hardware. I hope you reconsider and instead focus on the basic game and gameplay.

I would say keep it in UE4 for the same reasons that many people have already brought up. It could seriously delay things and I really don't want to read the complaints that will inevitably come up when performance drops for some hardware. If you're going to use UE5 I'm assuming you'd be looking to add lumen and nanite, which I can't see a use for in the game, at least IMO.

In the first place, GPUs of that class already do not provide satisfactory performance, so I don't think it will be a big problem even if support ends.

Let’s not mention the extra work load or the huge scale up in time spent moving it over. FYI this is not a snap they will need a good chunk of time JUST to move it over. That means no new animations characters, creatures etc. not saying others won’t work on them but we won’t see em until the move

A large amount of new work for UE5 has arisen, and I think it will become a factor in delaying the schedule for the game portion.

You can buy used Dell Precision with NVIDIA Quadro T1000 or T2000 for cheap, usually after they come off 3 years or so service warranty at universities, etc. that upgrade for newer models.

Upgrade, because the complex game graphics already overwhelm anything below 1050Ti. Even 1050Ti can barely handle it. 1650Ti can be bought cheaply these days over 1070

I'm all for you improving the game in every aspect. UE5 is a no brainer, also hoping for combat mode/story stuff. You've got a good base for sex related content. Now just needs more gameplay focus. You can always add more researchers, monsters, poses later

i heard physics with UE5 is less greedy than UE4 soo if it's true that would help for optimisation , but if you planning to do that soon, don't lose your time with UE4 optimization , you will probably doing it for nothing. the Game satisfactory change UE4 to UE5 and that change anything about FPS for my computer (RTX 3080TI with 32/9 ultrawide screen) , but now the collision with the vehicles on the floor and fondation are very fluid . The UE5 unlocked some graphic option like Ray tracing and a better ambiant occlusion too, soo for a potentially final graphic update that would be awesome . that would be better to make VR on the game if you still plan to VR your game . after trying a lot of game like yours the physics collision is the most greedy thing i saw in VR. ( occulus quest 3 for me )

People need to accept that the GTX series is very outdated. But performance in Unreal Engine 5 is often terrible if done wrong. The only thing I ask: Would 60+ FPS still be possible with RTX 3000 series cards?

That's not even a game for now. I'd rather something that's a game than something that is a library of a few sex scenes.

Another thing some folks don't seem to get is that the "progress" for features will continue to be at a snail pace seeing that they will have to tackle more bugged issues with each update. It's very likely performance will suffer greatly even if they claim it will run fine when they make the switch and perhaps a year or two for another "rebuild" that won't improve much. Their track record shows this being likely the case.

The game looks great already and honestly none of us are playing a game like this to look shadow generation or reflections. Would rather have more substance to it than giving it graphics overhaul. Stick with UE4.

Even with a good graphics card, UE5 lags horribly. And no offense, the game already lags for no reason as is.
