There're some hiccups due to the test clips being acted by a male staff. We employ female dancers for the actual mocap, lest the body parts clip with each other due to body proportion differences. 😂

In mocap there's no substitute/shortcuts for reality, if you want a female walk you have to hire a female, if you want something heavy or cumbersome you have to give that person something heavy to hold...

I agree, take all the time you need to make it something that you feel is good. However, consistent posting giving us updates on how/where things are going is appreciated and helps keep momentum preventing drop-off.

I'm a bit curious on how the clipping is handled for mocap. If the dancer is less busty than the computer model they're working with, does she have to 'stuff her bra' or something similar? Any other odd procedures used to make it all work?
Two ways that is fixed is either by wearing a fake bust (A less used option because it causes more fatigue for the mocap actor) or they will implement non-collision mesh work which is how games get the "squishing" affect. Clipping on it's own is hard to deal with and even from AAA titles happens even if the mocap actor is perfectly matching the model and that is simply because even non-collision mesh can falter.
Please take your time making this game so you can iron out every little detail. Don't rush like those big companies who release broken games just to make people happy.

... completing the game kinda consists of steps. This is one of them. I'm sure if he could, he'd snap his fingers and a fully complete game would just fall out of the sky.

This looks pretty amazing. Will you be porting the game into UE5? I think it would help streamline the process if you did but I'm not a developer so I wouldn't know.
