Update 0.4.8 and Closed Beta Sitrep
Thank you for taking part in the closed beta and providing valuable feedback! Before entering phase 2, a series of rebuilding and optimization work needs to be done to rectify the following issues detected in the first phase of closed beta:
Issues to Address During the Rebuilding
Horrendous performance for mid-tier PCs / Futureproofing
The biggest issue in terms of time. Hard to say exactly how it'll affect things but potentially a delay to current plans to improve basic stability, optimization, and server handling. Pinpoint timeframe inexact, but estimated 2 months at least. We don't like delays, but we feel it's ultimately necessary.
We will still add new contents and updates to the current framework before the reconstructing is complete.
VR functionality
Updated version is in development and not implemented, the team wasn't happy with how it was before. We aim to add real time physics-based touch interactions between player and the avatar in the VR mode and allow desktop and VR players to share the same room. Will still happen in Phase 2. Should be improved by the above point as well.
Current In-game Mechanics
Game is too grindy. The team is working on ways to improve this by adding interplayer interactions, environment device/bondage mechanisms and combat drill mode, effectively triple the in-game resource gain and make the Harem mode more fun to take part in. Your feedback's been heard and is on the table for serious consideration as the rebuild goes on.
New Contents Added During Rebuilding
Combat Drill Mode
In Combat drill mode the player commands the cyberdolls to fight in simulated battles against cultists and eldritch horrors to earn Intel. Spending Intel when analyzing a blueprint will guarantee that the yielded experiments are not duplicated.
Bondage Mechanism
A player can restrain their avatar on one of the environment devices, such as glory hole, kabeshiri or obstetrical table. The investigators will stay restrained until Sanity runs out, even if their owner went offline. Unique sexual interactions can happen if other players decide to have fun with the bondaged investigators, depending on the location where they are placed.
The offline player can retrieve the Likes and Inspirations collected during the process the next time they log in Harem Mode.

After I get the steam key, what should I do to get into the beta test
Open Steam and look at the very top left part of the Steam's windows. You should find "Games" (small font, between "Contacts" and "Help"). Click on it. A new menu open, click on "Activate a product with Steam". Again, a new menu open, explaining that you're about to add a new game in your steam library. Click on "Next", agree to the Steam's terms of use, and finaly you should be able to enter your Steam Key.

I want to also advocate for a better gallery mode; I *do not enjoy* the idea of only being able to enjoy the game's content in pseudoprivacy with other players (observable, intractable, or not) nearby.
I highly recommend Project Helius to put outfits and experiments that players owned in Haren into Gallery, if players only can play what they got in Haren, then it is not fair to the player who has network problems. Btw, the Haren pattern has a lot of problems. My laptop with RTX 2080 only can work under 5 players in Haren, and I am afraid that you cannot optimize the Haren before my laptop die lol.

确实，夜总会模式我从19年就在demo玩，前一阵电脑崩溃demo打不开了，结果回官网又下不了，怎么Patreon老用户的原有权益都保障不了，赞助了六个月最后还是退订了，实在有点失望。

It's most likely just like other early access games....everything should carry over to when the game is properly released on Steam...that way they aren't scamming anyone out of money.

Go to the Fallen Doll official website and click claim key. It will have a popup telling you that the your pledge is being processed. Once your pledge has been processed or is already processed, the next time you click claim key, a timer will show how much longer you have to wait in order to get the steam key.

Maybe you missed the point, NOBODY wants this to be a multiplayer game!!! Its not a MMO, was never seen as an MMO and your player base isn't looking of a sexy MMO. Continue on this path and you will have a beautiful failure of a game.
Don't generalize. I for one don't mind there being multiplayer features. They aren't the main appeal, and I don't think they should be the main focus for the team, but I don't mind their presence. The multiplayer feature is relatively anonymous, and doesn't force any type of interaction on you. You can participate anonymously, or even not at all. So why the outcry?

It seems that all these 'bundle claims' while waiting for the beta are just costumes that will be added over time, but not only that, you have to buy them with the like currency in game?? So if that is true, that would mean that it did not matter that you claimed a limited time offer bundle, because the outfits will be added to the general beta anyways? And even if u did, you still have to grind for them?
The progress will reset when the first two phases of closed beta ends, and participators will receive a starter booster pack based on their progress during the closed beta.
