Story Mode, Multiplayer, 0.29 Progress and More (Part 1)
And now for something completely different. Formerly announced as the story mode, Operation Lovecraft will feature its core gameplay mechanic as the "Campaign" mode.
During the Campaign you play as the acting commander of SPES (Special Purpose Emergency Squad), Dr.Anya, to direct the field investigations, allocate the strategic resources and guide the military forces in a frontier colony ravaged by mad dreams and eldritch corruption at the edge of solar system.
You will need to carefully balance your standing among the four dominating factions in the Neo England Colony and make diplomatic decisions to secure their support. In each Campaign playthrough you may choose one field operative among your team under your direct control to conduct tactical missions on the surface of Yuggoth while others provide support and pursue investigations when you take command in the Archimedes Station from the orbit. Each operative has their own initial faction standing bonus and perk related to their background:
The Bureau (Erika, former Bureau agent)
The Viceroyalty (Alet, officer of Neo Arkham Police Department)
DMAIC (Galatea, DMAIC's incident response specialist)
Miskatonic University (Dr.Anya, scientist-explorer affiliated with the University)
Dr.Anya will be unlocked as a playable field operative after you beat the game with one of other main characters. The idle characters not under your direct command can be appointed as the secretary to help you with the mission.
Each character provides unique passive perk and make part of their tactic card deck available to the main character while being the secretary, so picking a different partner will change the gameplay dramatically even if you play as the same main character in different campaign runs.

I subscribed for $35 and started the operation lovecraft patreon game and clicked on new game. It goes back to the homepage. I don't even know how to enter the steam key. Please tell me.
The latest builds of the game are available via the Beta Test Branch, which is accessible on Steam via a Steam key you can claim after total Patreon contributions totaling $35+. See the Patreon page info for more detail. There is a game.
I got an Onlooker subscription, I tried to get the download from the game's website, I tried to enter story mode and it throws me to the patreon website. So, I tried to enter the game launcher through steam, it runs normally, and when I enter the menu, and you click to enter the harem, it sends you to the Patreon site, there is no game, there is no support room, and it is impossible to reach help through twitter. There is a version of the game that was released only to those who were given the key before it ended up on steam, there is no game, it is pure "SCAM".
Its a SCAM, and the steam platform is pushing this error, saying this game soon will be avaible, theres no support or site of them,

There are a lot of people thinking that there is a bug or cut content here. This is a place holder. Right now the demo is only for the gallery. It is pretty well done and does it's job as a demo. The game isn't out, stop expecting so much. Also it actually looks a bit better in VR imo

Im in straight confusion as others here. Like i just bought the game, went story. Took me here, but with no link or nothing. Its a good looking game, but why im here for introduction when i just want to play a game.

New Backer! I've had a lot of confusion figuring things out. Here are some big questions I had/have, that are worth addressing in a more visible way: Where is the Tactical Game? Tactical game doesn't seem to exist yet, but it will be part of the Desktop Game, which is a separate download from the VR Game, and uses the name "Paralogue." What is in the Desktop Game at the moment? It consists of a 'Gallery' mode, where the player can set up interactive sex scenes between 3 models, and a selection of monsters. Also, while I acknowledge the value of an accessible 'panic' button, I keep hitting 'Esc' to go back through menus, and it exits the game.
Yeah I agree, this project has a big lack of information for people that arent that involved or just want to play. It generates a lot of confusion and frustration and is still not being adressed... thats certainly one way to piss people off and should be adressed...

Ich brauche bitte Hilfe: Ich habe mir das Spiel runtergeladen und auch durch einen Key aktiviert... das Spiel startet auch soweit, doch wenn ich auf Kampagne und Neues Spiel gehe öffnen sich ein Webbrwoser von Patron und ich kann nicht spielen... woran liegt das ??!!!!
das spiel ist in der anfänglichen entwicklungsphase, auf die kampagne kannst du noch lange warten. im moment geht nur die gallerie mit wenigen funktionen. alle anderen buttons sind nur platzhalter ohne funktion.

Please don't put pregnancy in this beautiful game, it will ruin it. Or if you do make so that only same species can inseminate each other and bear children. I don't mind if it will be completely optional, but if its part of the core gameplay count me and most normal kinky people out.

Hmmm, not a scam you just don't understand what is going on. The game is early in development this pateron is to support that development. In the menu,go to "Gallery" and select "classic." The content in there is worth far more than 8$. It is already among the better XXX games out there.

You say the game and sex scenes are separate, which I find great. Will sex scenes occur outside of the "sex scene gallery"? And if so; how?

Question about the campaign mode; I'm more of a guy on girl kind of guy and am not super into the monster thing. Will the campaign mostly be focused around the monsters? Or will there still be human/human stuff as well?
It depends on the route you take in the investigation, I'll elaborate in the future.
