Announcement: Honest Talk

Hey everybody,

Real talk. It's kind of tight lately, anyway I am thinking of minimizing the time I spent more on translating That's because it is taking a lot of time, even if I enjoy doing it. Don't worry though, I won't be stopping anytime soon as long as translating is not costing me money. Still, I might have to decrease uploads and I really don't want that, especially with people supporting me. The cost is still the same $9.44/month (find it here) so we will be good as long as there are a handful of people willing to support, I will keep it up.

However, things are getting dicey in real life, and I need help. Working as a virtual assistant is getting difficult especially with AI and all that. Clients say we are costing too much because a chat model can do what we do; however they are not willing to let us go, especially trained ones, a human still does work better than an AI. We make mistakes but we don't hallucinate and lie about results just to please our clients. Nevertheless, we are getting more work with no increase in pay and it kind of hurts. I want to change jobs but $6/hour is really good especially for a former healthcare worker like me. I used to work for $10/day on an 8-10 hour shift so this is still pretty good. There will be others that are willing to take my job, especially in my country where money is tight.

So here's the issue, my parents are getting older, they have savings and pension but with inflation and all that... it's quite difficult to help them while also preparing for my own retirement. If you help so we reach like $600/month, then I can look for a different company/client, and not be worried about not being able to support me and my family. That is why I am asking for help. I will be slashing the prices permanently, and increase the amount of available chapters per tier; in hopes that it attracts new Supporters and for old Supporters to return. So, if you are able please help, I am grateful for any help.
