Spell Illustration | Bless
Illustrated by Chui Wizard.
Hey all!
We have a great new entry into our Spell Illustration collection, a wonderful rendition of a cleric and a few party members preparing for battle. The cleric takes a moment, praying to their deity to bless them in the upcoming battle.
One of the things I loved was them using light to showcase the [3] characters being blessed by the descending light of the deity's power, a really creative way to both show the presence of the spell as well as the multiple characters affected.
Here's how the spell works, as written:
Bless
Level 1 Enchantment (Cleric, Paladin)
Casting Time: Action
Range: 30 feet
Components: V, S, M (a Holy Symbol worth 5+ GP)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You bless up to three creatures within range. Whenever a target makes an attack roll or a saving throw before the spell ends, the target adds 1d4 to the attack roll or save.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot.
You can target one additional creature for each spell slot level above 1.

I hope you guys enjoy the illustration and I will continue to update you on the project.

These are so cool, good stuff
The B&W illustration takes me back to the old D&D/AD&D rulebooks!
Absolutely! One of the main reasons why I enjoy it so much. Hoping to eventually create a book compilation of all of the SRD spells with accompanying illustrations. =)
