Each month I try and bring my Patrons a lot of resources, including the Illustration Support packs, music, and other human art I commission to pass your generosity along to others. One of those has been the Monster Hunter Journal pages, which include a creature and a slew of byproducts one may glean should they hunt, fell and skin the beast.

This Map Pack was designed as a supplement to the most recent Monster Hunter Journal piece I will be releasing soon -- the Manticore. I thought it would be useful for you guys to have a lair for the various creatures you may hunt, so that the party can actually discover where they lair, track them, hunt them (or be hunted) and obtain the many rewards.

Thus, I present the Manticore Lair, an old ruined village in the mountains, its skeletal buildings long since picked clean by bandits and the elements. Even still, rumors surround the ruined site and occasionally bring an adventuring party to the doorstep of a fearsome hunter that lairs in the old tower there.

For this map, we have a great illustrated scene by Ha Art showing the ruins, as well as a silhouette of the hunter. There is also a version of it without the silhouette for people wanting to use this location without the Manticore.

There are a wide variety of levels, buildings and hard and soft cover available to make the encounter(s) interesting, and it would be a great location for all kinds of potential narratives within your adventure -- undead, bandits, cultists, ogres or all manner of creatures that may find the bones of a ruined village comforting.

We also have a great sprite, Creature Card and token for the Manticore that comes along with the Map Pack, as well as files appropriate for Roll20, Foundry, Print and many other VTT environments.
