Update on where I was and how we go forward
Hey everyone — thanks so much to those of you still here.
2025 has been... a lot. Most notably, I was completely locked out of my Patreon from late February until the last week of April. It happened after I logged in on my laptop (for the first time) to fulfill merch orders, and Patreon flagged it as suspicious activity. From there, I lost full access to my account — I couldn’t see addresses, messages, or even withdraw funds. It basically treated me like I wasn’t the owner anymore. Support response was painfully slow, and it dragged on for over a month and a half. It got to the point where I was seriously considering picking up a part-time job just to stay safe.
Now that access is restored, I’ve been catching up over the last couple weeks and working to get everything back on track, and figure out some things that can be better for all of us here.
Merch update:
For all $9 merch patrons — including anyone who downgraded after February — you’ll be receiving three sticker sheets covering February, March, and April. A heads up: the “chonky cat” sticker had a typo. I caught it in time and sent a corrected version to the vendor, but they still printed the wrong one. They gave me 50% off the next order, so I’ve included the corrected version on the second sheet. (picture above)
We will actually be working on this month's merch this week and I think it will be magnets.
Also Commission folks, I will be contacting you this week.
What’s changing going forward:
To prevent delays like this in the future and to bring more consistency, I’m making a few adjustments:
Coral of the Void will stay at least two episodes ahead here on Patreon (next episode will be uploaded after this).
Shorts (Tales from the Void) will also be posted here early, unless they’re tied to something like a holiday. That means before Instagram and Facebook as well. Not sure how far in advance I want to keep that but I'm think two weeks. Bit undecided. Maybe some exclusives because I can't put all forms of story telling on socials
I’ll be introducing a streaming schedule for work days, starting this week this week!
If you’re new here — yes, I stream! Some of you already got updates through casual game streams I normally did during the Patreon lockout. The work day streams are chill, art-focused streams where I showcase my general work, upcoming plans, and chat with the community more personally. You'll see me drawing for both short comics, and COTV and pretty much anything I can showcase on cam. I’ll be sharing the stream schedule separately in an hour, and I’ll post a heads-up when I go live so you can stop in. You’re welcome to lurk, chat, or just catch Coral’s cameos — she’s almost always on screen. What I want this to add is a little more transparency for everyone, and to add another level of accountability for myself to finish what needs to be finished, in the time it needs to be finished in.
Thanks again to everyone who’s stuck with me through this mess. More updates coming very soon.

I'm glad you're OK and Coral is back!
Hi dear Cody, i just wanna ask if you could send me an email. honora@debrito.pt. I am a void core member, and I haven’t received anything here from your merch in Portugal for quite some time. If we could verify that please let’s do it. I sometimes had issues with my bank card but I always aligned that on time not to lose subscription and to continue supporting you. I hope this haven’t complicated anything..
Things had been so hectic over here that I’d just begun to wonder if everything was ok for you guys. Sorry you had to deal with all that. Glad to see it’s working out. Love to Coral and fam.
Welcome back! and fuck yeah! Magnets! My mum still likes the ones attached to the fridge :D
Glad you got that all sorted. That sounds like an unpleasant process.
Glad you're back I'm glad to hear from you, I've been checking here everyday the last week wondering if I was missing emails. 2025 is a challenging year but hey - we all have each other in the void. Coral is always a bright spot in the gloom.
Glad the Void is restored. I have a teenager; I follow the life-is-what-it model. It’s all groovy, as Pete the Cat would say.
Extremely happy to hear from you again!. And I'm delighted you've regained access to your account! Happy to support you through that frustrating process, too.
Good you hear from you. I was worrying about you and Coral. Being locked out sucks, but at least y'all are okay.
The world is on fire, and we're all just trying to get by. I occasionally get stickers and journals from a place in Canada, and the US just sent them back 3000 orders without explaining why. I'm just here for Coral being Coral and when the stickers arrive its like a fun surprise. Hang in there
