[Misc.] Newly public mods + Info on Upcoming Updates + Further Roadmap + misc stuff
Hello everyone,
Just keeping you informed on what's new and what's coming.
a. NEWLY PUBLIC MODS & New Changes
--> Now Public:
For those of you who missed it, the "Club Management" mod is now public. Find it here:
馃敆 Club Management: an in-depth Sims 4 mod for clubs and club system options
The feature below is included in the "Club Management" mod, but also exists as a standalone:
--> 馃惗 馃殌 Mod Hound change:
The Hound has received an upgrade and can now scan your Mods folder much faster! He also is more accepting of CC hoards than before.
(more Mod Hound changes / new features coming very soon)
b. UPCOMING
--> RPO MODS update (expected within 30 days or less - probably much less)
The Newest version of RPO Collection mods is almost ready. In addition to big background changes (mentioned in my previous "what's new and coming" post) and various bug fixes, it will also have a first batch of "Extra Opinions" (an upcoming group of features I mentioned some months ago). The first batch is these shown on screenshot below.
(It is a first batch, there will be more of them later kind of soonish probably, some which were requested by Patrons!
Including: against home births, against WooHoo before marriage, against parenting alone, against adopting, and more)
(screenshot has wrong test on one of them, fixed since)
I'm still finishing them up and a few verifications on bug fixes; once that is done I will release the update.
--> OTHER THAN RPO MODS:
mod hound related new stuff, as mentioned before, still upcoming
there's a new, small secret project I want to attempt, I'll tell you more soon if it pans out!
c. AND THE ROADMAP BEYOND THAT?
So much to do and so much I want to do!
But if I remember properly, the things to do next are:
Feature updates to RPO M3 (WTDs)
Feature updates to RPO M5 (teen pregnancy)
Feature updates to Law and Disorder
So I will start on that more or less now / in just a little bit, in addition to working on the other things.
d. A LITTLE NOTE TO FINISH
Like my mods? Like my modding principles (no freewalling, no permapaywalling, no genAI, no 'subscriber only' gating of discord server for support, cheaper-than-most entry-level early access tier, etc)?
Can't commit to a subscription but still want to send a tip my way to encourage both the work and the principles? (or maybe you're incredible and want to give extra support 馃く)

Hi, how difficult would say it would be for someone like me with no coding experience to write a bit of code to make Law and Disorder talk to Wicked Whims? Specifically aa it pertains to Naturing?

that's so exciting! i really appreciate your work, though of course i hope you can have plenty of time for other things! it's nice that there's a tip option, maybe sometime soon i can!
With the pregnancy mods, will both parents be able to announce pregnancy to friends and family? I notice that teen moms only get in trouble for having babies but nothing for the dads, and both parents don't have all the same interactions. Also, if the father was lied to about the DNA, the relationship with the child still shows as stepchild or acquaintance, and even if the father is happy to have a baby, he can't share the joy with others, and (if he was lied to about DNA) at birth he gets no moodlet for the baby being born. Please let me know if this is something that will be included or if it's been an idea to add later. Thanks for all you do!
