[Patch(es)] Another Status Info Post

TODAY'S PATCH

Today's patch does not change the status of any of my mods

DETAIL ON STATUS OF NOT-YET-CLEARED MODS & OTHER ISSUES

  • RPO M09 Adoption returned three days ago, download links are same place as always; RPO CORE files ALSO updated for this.

  • RPO M08 Insemination & Surrogacy is still undergoing update work to make sure trees behave as expected in all circumstances.
    The big delay there is that "what is expected" has had to change a LOT to accommodate the realities of the updated EA system.
    I'm almost done testing the changes myself, then they will go through another phase of testing by Sun volunteers and other volunteers. We're going to start that tomorrow.

  • RPO M1 & M4 & EA's EP21: People who have the new pack and are planning out a secret child scenario will struggle to use M1's pregnancy interactions when having a secret child at the moment. This is due to EA's secret child system not triggering in the exact same circumstances as my paternity systems and vice versa, causing inconsistencies / lack of sync between the two.
    This is of course being worked on for better integration. As the changes are the way they are, I am also going to take this opportunity to advance or finish the paternity updates that I had started long months ago instead of continuing to have to juggle two versions (public and in progress) as it is getting too complicated to do so. This might meant the 'integration update' takes longer than otherwise, but not by much. The update for M4 I hope should debut testing in a few days.

  • Similarly, the EA secret child system does not recognize a variety of Open Love Life scenarios; this also will be fixed in an upcoming update

  • This must be fairly obvious by now: this patch has been hard on my mods and I haven't had any time to continue the CPS overhaul work. Once RPO M08 is fully patch fixed and M04 tweaked as stated above, I can go back to that.

It's no fun spending so much time on just regaining functionality of previous works, but there is little choice.
