[Mod] "Personal Lists": in-game checklists and basic lists for gameplay tracking or whatever else! - sims 4
Hello everyone!
We are getting to my 4th modding anniversary.
Thank you for this journey. Without your support, it would not be possible.
Check Global Update Notes post for Latest Update notes.
Make and use checklists and basic lists (IN GAME!) to track your gameplay, your plans for future playing sessions, or anything you want 😊
Find this mod under the "Actions" menu

Hi, i've been trying to use the lists and I can make the title but I cant edit or open them, been trying to write check lists for my not so berry challenge. it used to work so not sure why it doesnt now, I have tried updating it and the toolbox and deleted the lists to start over, but seems to be the same issue, any ideas?
Hi, just tested here and I am not having any problems. I'd suggest checking your Mods folder in depth. You can run a scan on Mod Hound to at least clear out you having old versions of my stuff hiding around :)

4th mod anniversary! Congrats! We love you Lumpinou! Your work has been amazing!
i love you and your mods sm
This is amazing, thank you! Not sure how and if it can be implemented, but here's a suggestion: allow the creation of template lists that can be applied easily to different sims. Ideally, it would be great if some sort of markup language could be used to edit these templates in a text editor (change one file, applies to all lists across all sims). The context for this is: when I create a sim - and most of my fun in the game is creating sims more than playing them lol - I have a few tasks I always go through: - copy outfit (so makeup and jewellery and hair etc are repeated) - personalize outfits - give them those special "attributes" *wink wink* - give them a job and so on. It would be great if I could track all these tasks in a checklist of common to-do for each sim, as at times I may loose track of what I've done to whom. Thanks again!
If you have a situation where you've got a list of tasks and to compete the list several times, then it sounds like it should be an Instruction List as part of the Gameplay Suggestion System. Instruction Lists are very similar to the checklists of Personal Lists except they are meant to be shareable if wanted (OPTIONAL) and are also editable not only in game but also on the dedicated website. Check out the page about Gameplay Suggestion System for more info. It might also be that what you need is a Suggestion Set, which isn't a checklist but can still have steps of something that would be prompted in a random order substituting placeholders for your Sim's names.
Is this just to create a to-do list or is it recognized as sorts of aspiration in game?
The former. Aspirations (just as traits, buffs, etc) can't be created on the fly as they need ui files (simdata). People can make and share custom scenarios or fake aspirations with each other nonetheless with the Instruction List function of the Gameplay Suggestion System. It's similar to the checklists here but oriented towards more universal task lists that anyone could have in game as mock aspirations etc
This is awesome!! Thank you so much for your amazing mods🙌🏽
I honestly couldn't imagine my game w/o your mods, thank you for everything you do !! 🧡
Thank you for all that you do!
I really should try this - I do this sort of thing outside of game now for future legacy gaemplay plans/ideas, in notepad. Thanks for adding it!
Omg this is perfect for tracking short-term goals for challenges! Ty!
Omg you always come up with things I didn't know I needed! I'm currently doing Ato Z Baby and this is exactly what I need. tysm!
