Medieval save (Blowtorch + CC)
Welcome to a carefully crafted save for The Sims 4, where every world, lot and family has its own place, history, and purpose.
The following worlds have been reworked in this save: Willow Creek, Copperdale, Henford-on-Bagley, and Britechester.
Next in line are Windenburg and Magnolia Promenade.
Please note that this save includes custom content (CC) and mods. Be sure to install everything carefully and place all required files correctly.
For two days following the release, I will be monitoring the save for potential issues. Before publication, access to all lots was tested across all families, and no critical errors were encountered.

A detailed list of all creators and used objects will be provided a bit later.
You can wait for the full list and download the save accordingly. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to document everything at once.
Note: Install both save files for better stability. Essentially, this helps ensure the save works more smoothly.

So excited to get into this save- thank you for your work! I have one question- all of the Sims in the save do not have clothes, though I have downloaded the corresponding CC from the lists. Anyone have any ideas as if I am missing something? Thanks!

В описании говорится о двух файлах сохранения, также в комментариях я нашла вопрос про это. Но я вижу только один файл доступный для скачивания. Также, как я поняла, это сохранение в данный момент есть только на английском языке, верно?

hey - I finally got it to start working and this save is incredible! Wow. great work. A few things to note that ***other players may find helpful**** TL;DR most important one being to delete zip/rar/7z files. Issues/Notes: 1) I found several .rar .7z and .zip files are left unzipped/opened within sub folders of the mods folder, some are nested several layers deep. TS4 can't read these and it can cause issues with your game. They should be deleted. 2) Unconfirmed: I'm fairly sure one of the mods subfolders didn't have any package files in it just the zip/7z/rar - which means that mod wasn't actually installed and I'm sorry I can't remember which it is (I noticed it before I decided to put this info into a comment, sorry!) - but if it's important for gameplay it might be worth looking around for it. 3) Super minor, not a huge deal but worth noting - There are also desktop ini folders etc which are just leftover from windows systems. They are totally harmless and won't cause game issues, but they're just noise and other downloaders can delete those safely. Deleting those and the zip/7z/rar files will clear up some disk space as well. A lot of creators do also accidentally leave these in, usually harmless. 4) Unconfirmed: Also - the body hair mods might be causing an issue for CAS not to open for me. In case anyone else experiences that, I'd try deleting it. I'm still confirming it's the root cause but right now I'm 90% certain. Hitting character max I think? Continuing in a reply to this comment.
5) Mods folder!: As is implied..I finally found the mods folder, guys! Can't remember how I got there or I'd update. It was only in a google drive link which I think I through one of the notion pages. Kindly would ask MissChipsa to make this link more clear as a lot of the Patreons in the comments are also having trouble. 6) Languages: I'm an English speaker, so I downloaded the English versions. I am seeing some words in another language (Russian? I can't tell, sorry if that's incorrect) in the pie menus, world lot names outside of the new ones (like everything in Windenburg, Oasis Springs etc is in another language, your lots are in English) and the holidays etc. Obviously not a huge deal for most of this - but it seems like there are custom holidays so it would be great to have those in English. I'm sure they enhance gameplay and the pie menus would be ideal to have all in English as an option. Just wasn't sure if you were aware of this - maybe it's a known limitation of multi-lingual development - but wanted to mention it just in case there was a way to fix. 7) Blowtorch not quite blowtorching - but it's probably my problem: Still figuring out how to get the "set dressing" (original houses etc) to work - I'm still seeing EA's houses etc in the background of Willow Creek. I have tool and blowtorch properly installed. If anyone has any pointers lmk. I will update here if I figure out what the issue is. Don't think that's an issue with your mods, it might be because I cherry picked some stuff out that I thought was a duplicate with something I already had or needed to be updated - but I went through it all again and don't see anything that seems like it would be the issue. Thank you for your hard work on this. I know it's a tremendous effort to document everything. Hope these comments help someone else get started- it's soooo worth it. truly game changing!!! Households and everything... bellisima! Is there a discord or somewhere better for stuff like this?

Joined as a mid tier member in order to ask where the CC list is. If the CC list is already linked in here, many of us are having trouble finding it so please consider making it more obvious? Or if you aren't releasing it yet, can you please state that in the post? This looks great, only wish I could play it by downloading the CC!

Your save seems incredible! Are you planning on implementing Ondarion and the Royalty & Legacy nobility system into your save?
How long is your early access wait usually? There's a few lots you have that start with "5.X" that are a couple years old but not available. Are they just on the gallery?

Hi. Thanks for the save files but I guess I'll track this and wait for the CC part. Are you just going to release a list and we all have to download hundreds of objects or will you release a folder? One of your lots had almost 400 builds items "missing" so I am guessing you used a ton.

As a developer, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for this! Please don’t stress too much about deadlines — I personally know how much work goes into what you and other mod creators do. I truly respect the time, effort, and passion behind projects like this. With all due respect, thank you once again. Your work does not go unnoticed.
Oh, I forgot to ask - this is a different file than your "Medieval save 2.0 with CC", right? Is this an upgraded version or are they not related?
They are not connected. The first version had an error that couldn’t be fixed. That’s why I read a lot of guides on how to ensure save stability and started over in a new, clean save, doing everything properly from the very beginning to avoid issues in the future.

hello! what is the difference between the 2 save files for download?
These are two files of the same save. For better stability, it is also recommended to install the backup version.
Hi MissChipsa! I presume this is locked to the most recent version of the game? And if so, would you be open to posting a version compatible with earlier game versions, for those of us not updating? Like 1118 or so, say: a version from October, that you already have uploaded somewhere online? Even if it is missing newer details, (like, I presume, from the new 'Royalty EP'), and has less lots, it'll still be awesome, I'm sure! Please consider it? Cheers 🥂!
During the creation of the save, I made many backups 😊 I can send an earlier version if needed, but it may include only 1–2 worlds. I have versions from October 6, 10, 19, 23,27, 29 and November 10, 23, 24, 29 and later, but I’m not sure which game version they were made for.
Wow!! This looks wonderful already, better than my own medieval save I've worked on for years (well, at the same time as on lots of other saves, but still....) I'm really looking forward to checking it out!! But I'll wait for more updates on it as I'm busy right now - which brings me to the most important thing I wanted to say: don't stress yourself too much! This should still be mostly fun! The past couple of days have been very difficult for me. I wanted to meet my deadlines, but as often happens, things didn’t go as planned, and a lot had to be redone from scratch. It was very exhausting. Thank you for waiting and for your patience. I truly hope this save brings you joy and enjoyment. Tomorrow is a workday for me, but I hope I’ll finally get some rest in the evening. Thank you for being here. I hope you enjoy exploring and spending time in the new worlds.
