Noclip at GDC - Interview Bonanza!
Hey Patrons!
It's March, and as promised there is a torrent of documentaries incoming. We've got at least one doc a week coming for the next three weeks (Frog Fractions 1 & 2 go live on Monday and Tuesday) but we're also hard at work at a fun project we've been planning for a number of months.
Patreon allowed us the use of their studio to record about a dozen interviews with a wide variety of developers. We talked to Harvey Smith about Deus Ex, Dishonored and life in France. We asked Zoe Quinn to tell us her favorite 3DO FMV games. We even got id Software's Hugo and Marty to give us a review of John Wick 2.
When we had originally planned these features we thought they'd be an interesting bonus project. But the conversations have been so entertaining that we've decided to give them real TLC in the edit room. We'll drop one or two once the final doc is out this month (Spelunky on the 21st) but expect the lions share of them in April. Patrons can expect a lot of extended cuts from these too.
Loads more videos and news coming this month including some chat about our upcoming Japan trip and PAX East plans but I'll leave those for another post.
Once again, thanks so much for your support. We're working are asses off over here and really appreciate your continuing support of our efforts.
I've got to run to a business meeting but wanted to give you all an update on the start of a very exciting month.
Danny

Oh yes, very nice.
I love your content!
Great job! :)
hello gamers
Awesome!
"as promised there is a torrent of documentaries incoming" I'm surprised you're switching from youtube to P2P ;)
that is awesome
Just signed up. I realised I spend way more time on YouTube for a select few creators getting very excited when a new video pops up on my feed. Good luck and thanks for all the content so far. Despite its flaws GameSpot has brought some real talent to us.
In that case spend my last couple of contributions on a well deserved pint! Like I have posted here before, we can get quantity anywhere, we come to you for quality and you always deliver on that front. Enjoy PAX East mate!
Jeees....do you get any sleep Danny!? Don't work yourself too hard.
I'll be honest, these past few weeks have been pretty tiring! Looking forward to a little bit of chill-out time at PAX East.
Delicious I am pumped! The standard and quality of videos have been incredible. I am loving being a part of this movement/family. Loving it!
This is great! I can't wait for the GDC interviews, since I couldn't make it this year!
Haha, Hugo and Marty giving a review of John Wick 2 sounds so random yet totally awesome! xP
This sounds amazing.. More Hugo doing anything is a bonus! Also, I don't want to be 'that' guy (but I'm gonna!).. Second to last paragraph currently uses 'are' instead of 'our'. I know... I'll get my coat....
This is awesome Danny, thanks so much I can't wait! I'm thinking autocorrect messed up Zoë Quinn's name haha
Yea, whoops! Should be fixed now. Though now we'll never know what Joe Quinn's 3DO games are.
Keep it up Mr. O'Dwyer! Everything has been fantastic so far. I'm looking forward to these chats more than the game specific ones because I think they could be about a diverse amount of topics. Don't overwork yourself and great job!
Awesome man! That sounds like a nice diversification to the content. Should keep people even more engaged.
