TAPE ARCHIVE: Here's What We Found (The First 100 Videos)
YOUTUBE LINK: https://youtu.be/hRzbtqur8ts
Hey folks,
This week we reached 100 videos uploaded to our archive channel so it was a good excuse to make an update video for the main channel talking about what we saved, the lessons we learned and what we expect to find in the next 100 tapes.
As a reminder, here are the two locations you can watch / download all our archive materials.
Archive YouTube Channel: Youtube.com/@NoclipArchive
Archive.org Page: Tinyurl.com/nocliparchive
We will have a Patron Show dropping over the weekend with some more info on the archive, along with teasers for our Wipeout and Hyper Light Breaker docs - along with a little prop tease of an unannounced project.
In the meantime if you've any questions about the archive, stick them in the comments.
See you on the Patron Show!
Danny

Love what you do with this. And that thumbnail is hilarious.
Hey I told you 'you're crazy' in confidence and didn't expect the public call out.. 馃槀 But seriously, love what you and the team are doing with the tapes. Preservation is so important!
Betacam SP decks are NOT worth as much as they're listed on eBay. I've bought a couple working decks for less than $100 here in Phoenix. Try a search alert on OfferUp.
Will do! Did they work? (I assume they did?)
The true preservation we really need! Finely aged in the Digital Locker!
