Sneak peek! Heretic ending animations and artwork

Hey guys, another sneak peek!

I've been working on a couple more things for the Best Heretic Ending, so here's a little something for you!

1. Heidi's Purity Seal Business

I just finished some new artwork of Heidi selling Purity Seals!

We had a few of these animations like when she sleeps, studies etc they’re there to represent the repetitive action that Heidi was doing. Rather than showing the same static image every time, I thought it would be nice to actually show Heidi doing these little activities.

This time, it's Heidi trying her luck as a Purity Seal salesperson! After all, even an Inquisitorial acolyte needs to earn a few extra Thrones, right? And what better way than selling symbols of the Emperor's divine protection?

I know it's a pretty minor detail, but I thought it'd be fun to give her a little animation instead of keeping everything static. Nothing too fancy, just a small touch to make the scene feel more alive!

I'm hoping to add more of these little animations whenever I get the chance, especially for activities that players will be repeating quite often. It's a small addition, but I think it helps make the gameplay feel a little more lively and less repetitive.

Besides, it's always amusing to see Heidi doing ordinary little jobs when she's not busy dealing with heretics, xenos, and all sorts of questionable situations!

2. A Closer Look at Lirieth's Dungeon...

Remember how Heidi visited Lirieth's dungeon before and had quite a bit of fun with their whole domme-and-mistress roleplay?

Well, this time, things are a little different.

Heidi isn't coming back just to have another little adventure with Lirieth. Oh no, she has something much more interesting planned this time. And knowing Lirieth and her rather unusual tastes, I'm pretty sure she's going to love what Heidi has in store for her.

Instead of being the one enjoying Lirieth's attention, Heidi is bringing her a special gift: the Magus himself, for Lirieth to enjoy however she pleases. Nice, huh?

Yes, the very same Magus who once commanded an entire Genestealer cult, surrounded by devoted followers who practically worshipped the ground he walked on. How the mighty have fallen, eh?

But simply handing him over to Lirieth would be a little too boring, wouldn't it? After all, we're talking about a Drukhari mistress here. Someone who has probably seen just about every imaginable form of entertainment the galaxy has to offer. So naturally, I wanted to come up with something a little more unusual for this particular scene.

And I've been thinking about adding another kink to this scene...

Human furniture.

Yep. The Magus is going to become Lirieth's personal piece of furniture.

Not exactly the glorious destiny he once imagined for himself, is it? From leading a secretive cult and plotting the downfall of an entire world to becoming something his new mistress can casually sit on whenever she feels like it. Quite the career change, I'd say!

Of course, Lirieth isn't going to settle for just any ordinary piece of furniture. She has standards, you know. And having a former cult leader serve as her personal furniture is probably the sort of ridiculous luxury that would appeal to someone like her.

And the best part? The Magus isn't even going to complain about his new position. Quite the opposite, actually.

And why would he willingly put himself through that? Simple. To please his new mistress, of course.

After everything that's happened to him, his old ambitions and grand plans have become rather insignificant compared to earning Lirieth's approval. The same creature who once expected absolute devotion from his followers now finds himself eager to demonstrate that very same devotion to someone else.

Funny how things turn out, isn't it?

As for Lirieth, well... I imagine she's going to be absolutely delighted with her new acquisition. Not every day someone brings you a former Genestealer Magus as a gift, after all.

And Heidi? She gets to sit back and enjoy the results of her little arrangement. Though knowing Lirieth, I wouldn't be surprised if she has a few more surprises waiting for Heidi as well.

But I'll leave those details for you to discover in the game!

While the Magus struggles with exhaustion and suffering, Lirieth gets to enjoy every moment of his devotion. And as a bonus, the whole experience helps her regain her youth and beauty.

Sounds like a pretty good deal for Lirieth, doesn't it?  Anyway, I don't wanna spoil everything just yet. If you're curious about how it all plays out, you'll have to wait until the build is released!
