Inquisitor Trainer v0.5.9: Five Years Later… The First Ending Is Here + Major Rework
Hey guys,
Finally, the first ending scene for Inquisitor Trainer is here!
It honestly doesn’t feel real that this project has already been going for more than five years. And I have to say, I’m pretty happy with how the ending turned out. There are also multiple branching endings, some of which I already talked about quite a bit in my previous post, so I won’t repeat everything again here and here.
For those of you in my Codicer tier who normally get the Cheat Build, I’ve also added a shortcut that lets you jump straight into the ending scenes, just in case you don’t feel like replaying the entire story from the beginning + I’m sharing the V0.5.8 walkthrough.
That said, if you guys have the time, please, please try playing from the start! I’ve reworked quite a lot of the earlier story, and I’ve also added a bunch of fun little minigames along the way, including a hacking minigame, investigation sequences, and even a rather lewd church-style memory restoration ceremony.
I also spent quite a bit of time reworking Saint Celestine’s storyline, and I think this version works much better now. The whole idea of her losing pieces of her memory every single time she comes back to life is portrayed much more clearly, and the connections between that premise, her story, and her relationships with the other characters feel a lot more solid.
I’ve also set up and cleaned up parts of the straight, futa, and lesbian routes. And yes, I do mean parts, because honestly… there are a lot of branches to go through.
Artwork
I’ve made new artwork for the lesbian route, the straight route, and also for those of you who are perfectly happy enjoying both.
That includes NSFW artwork of Agnisia having some very interesting encounters with:
Roxxii, whose tongue is unusually powerful thanks to her origins on a wild jungle planet.
The holy milk of Sister Verine.
And the Emperor’s perpetually drunk son, who has finally managed to sober up.
I’m also really hoping this build is finally free from major bugs. A huge thank you to everyone who reported problems during last week’s Bug Hunt. You helped me catch a lot of things before this release.
And a huge thank you to all of my $25 patrons for putting your faith in my projects. May the Emperor bless you! I’ve updated all of your names in the Shrine Church, and you’ll be able to see them in this build.
I’ve also attached the walkthrough here, just in case you get stuck or aren’t sure what to do next.
If you still run into any bugs, broken scenes, strange behavior, or anything else that feels off, just DM me, leave a comment, or hit me up on Discord.

I really hope you enjoy this update!
And as always, tell me what you think.

Cheerio my friend! I think it's absolutely awesome that you implemented a lesbian route now! But I have one question regarding it. I hear people talk about it still having some forced dick encounters. I.e. a groupfight that cannot be avoided. Could you give a rough estimate to when the path be cleaned up? Thanks in advance!
Hey, thank you, my friend! My current target is to properly clean up the lesbian route throughout October, and I’ll keep going through player reports until the end of December in case there are still scenes I’ve missed. I’m already aware of the issues you mentioned, and I’ve been prioritizing scenes tied to the main progression first. The church scene where the MC asks for help is already being worked on, while others—like the MC’s visit to the Governor—have been flagged but still need their alternative route implemented. There are also some group-fight or group-activity scenes that still need better route handling, but since they shouldn’t affect the main story progression, they’ve been lower priority. If they currently feel unavoidable, I may not have made the choices clear enough—or there may still be a condition coded incorrectly. I’ll revisit those and make sure it’s clear they can be avoided. Right now, my biggest priority is the Vugnog bar content in the Undercity, because removing that interaction entirely would mean creating a new gameplay loop to replace it. I’ll keep going through the game piece by piece while working on the endings, so these route inconsistencies are cleaned up before the game is fully finished. Thanks again for pointing them out!
