Update Build 0.5.8 (Heidi X Cordelia Romance Sub-dom Humiliation Fetish and more...)
Hey people of the 21st century,
How's everyone doing on Terra? I hope the state of the world lately hasn't been bothering you too much, brothers and sisters. May the Emperor protect...
I wanted to share the latest update build for Inquisitor Trainer 1 with you guys. I meant it when I said I wanted to finish this game before the end of the year, and so far everything is still looking GOOD and right on schedule.
In this update, besides sharing the latest build, I'm also going to give you guys a quick overview of what I plan to update in Inquisitor Trainer 1 over the next 1–2 months.
In this build, you'll get:
The Baptism Scene of Heidi and Cordelia
I'm finally unlocking this scene for those of you who want to continue the Heidi x Cordelia romance route. It's completely optional and not required for the main story.
Personally, I think this storyline is already pretty polished. The lesbian romance dynamic is there, and the sub-dom chemistry between Heidi and Cordelia comes across quite strongly.
I've written Cordelia as somewhat of a tsundere character. She wants it, but she's still strict and intimidating about it. Well, she's an Inquisitor after all. She has to maintain her authority and status in front of her acolyte. So on the surface, she'll act as if everything she does is purely for Heidi's own good and for the enforcement of the Imperium's sacred laws. Deep down, however, she has her own interests as well. Manipulative female dom energy! You get the idea.
From Cordelia's perspective, Heidi genuinely needs to be baptized. After all, she used to perform as a striptease dancer in the Undercity in front of male heretics, xenos, and the Emperor knows who else. Because of that, if Heidi wishes to pursue a more intimate relationship with Cordelia, Cordelia demands that she undergo a baptismal ritual first.
During the ritual, Heidi must admit what she truly felt while living as a dancing star. Did she enjoy it? Or was it nothing more than a job? Well, that answer is entirely up to you as the player. Whether you choose to tell the truth or lie your way through it is your call. Go explore the dialogue options and see where they lead.
The baptism itself is performed without clothing as a symbol that Heidi is revealing "the whole naked truth" to Cordelia—without lies, without excuses, and without hiding anything. PLUS She must also surrender a small lock of her hair as a sign of sincerity and devotion. Safe to say, the possessive mature dom-lady energy is going to be very strong in this one.
By the end of the story, Heidi promises to follow and obey the dogmas of the Imperium—which will be interpreted exclusively by Cordelia herself of course. LOL!
LEWD Tag: "Do me, senpai!" wrapped in the fanaticism, rituals, and authority of the grimdark future.
One thing I really like about this scene is that you genuinely have a choice. You can pursue this romance route, or you can decide not to engage with it at all.
Since this is entirely optional content and isn't tied to the main quest, I have a lot more freedom to experiment here.
I also realize that not every player is interested in a girl-on-girl romance route. Because of that, I've tried to include a variety of dialogue options and responses so that you don't feel forced into scenes that aren't your thing.
I even added alternate dialogue for players who want to roleplay Heidi as someone who simply can't orgasm. In that version of the scene, Cordelia actually softens up a bit. She's still the dom, but she's more understanding and less harsh than usual.
The rest, I think it's better if you see and judge for yourselves in this build.
Sorry, the more I talk about it, the more spoilers I end up giving away.
2. Meeting the Assassin Scene (again)
Because you know how it is in 40k stories. Either someone suddenly gets a prophetic vision of the future, or an assassin just randomly shows up. Seriously, as silly as it sounds, there are actual stories where one of the Emperor's sons gets a prophecy about his death, an assassin shows up to kill him, and he basically goes, "Yep, sounds about right," and lets it happen.
Anyway, as for this game, here's how the story goes:
In this route, Heidi runs into Kivella once again, the mysterious assassin who suddenly showed up at her apartment some time ago.
This time, Kivella appears at the brothel and finds Heidi stressing out over the increasingly chaotic state of the planet. As usual, Kivella wastes no time teasing her in the most shameless ways possible. You can play Heidi as shy and flustered, or confident enough to flirt right back. But beneath all the flirting, Kivella also brings troubling news regarding the ongoing cult investigation. A noble family has mysteriously vanished, and their estate is now suspected of being a gathering place for cultists.
So while this scene is fairly lighthearted and packed with chemistry between Heidi and Kivella, it also contains some important developments for the main plot.
The Assassin : "You have the most beautiful bosom in this brothel.”
Next Month's Update: Additional Heidi Opening Scenes
I'm also adding several new scenes at the beginning of the game that focus on explaining who Heidi really is—our main protagonist.
Yeah, I know some people have said for a long time that the game's premise feels a little out of context. One reason for that might be that Heidi herself felt a bit too generic to me. Because of that, I want to flesh out her backstory and make the story feel more personal.
I know this is probably something I should have done from the very beginning, but I only recently came up with an idea that I think actually fits. So before I start working on the ending scenes, this is something I want to get out first.
Yes, this is the PRIORITY for next month's update plan.
(Spoiler Alert)
Heidi actually comes from the present day.
She was originally just an ordinary young woman—either a college student or a prostitute working at a local bar (I still haven't decided which one yet)—who accidentally crossed paths with the Emperor himself.
Yep, the Emperor is already alive in the modern era. In fact, according to the legend, he's been alive for thousands of years before our time and simply refuses to die. And he'll still be around in the 30th millennium... and even the 40th.
At the time, Heidi desperately needed money, while the Emperor was looking for volunteers for an experiment he was conducting in the present day. In exchange for payment, Heidi agreed to participate and was placed inside a long-term stasis capsule.
Then... boom.
When she wakes up, the world she once knew is gone.
She finds herself in the far future. One moment she's asleep, the next she's waking up in her apartment with a servo-skull floating nearby. From there, the servo-skull explains the Emperor's experiment and why an Inquisitor has decided to take Heidi on as an acolyte.
My goal is to help new players who aren't very familiar with the grimdark future setting understand what's going on. Rather than assuming everyone already knows the lore, players will be able to explore the setting from the very beginning. They can ask the servo-skull and Cordelia questions about the world, the Imperium, and whatever else they're curious about.
Some of the questions you'll be able to explore include:
What actually happened to the Emperor? From Heidi's point of view, he was just the scientist running the experiment she signed up for.
Why the government in the far future is completely different from anything she remembers.
How people's morals and values have changed over thousands of years.
After next month's update, another thing I want to clean up is Heidi's very first meeting with Cordelia. Especially that test and the first intimate scene with her. The context behind those scenes is something I really need to improve. But that's a problem for a future update. For now, I'd rather focus on fixing the opening scenes first.

Hello. I hope this message finds you well, I have a couple questions that I would like to ask regarding the Inquisitor Trainer 5.8 version(I apologise in advance if answers to my questions were already written somewhere). Are any of the paths completed in the game? I have been stuck after the mission of raiding the slums along with the other Inquisitor, as well as Verine’s quest in space. Though it is worth mentioning that I did not yet advance in the heretic path. Are there any updated walkthrough files beyond the 2021 version? How can I trigger the content with St. Celestine? And generally, are there any comprehensive guides available to advance further in the story(as well as access the content that was described in the posts between 5.0 and 5.8)? Thank you in advance for your answers. Kind regards, Bebra. P.S. Thank you for developing this game, it is quite interesting and the content is superb.
I am getting this error in the traceback when the game crashes in the undercity: I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.
