[New Files] A Carbonite Han Solo has been added to the September Specialist rewards!
Here's one I've wanted to do for a long time, it's just one of those iconic cinema pieces that's the perfect decor for a Star Wars themed room. This project is a little different from others, it's build and designed to NOT fully be 3D printed. You certainly can if you want, but we've separated parts off to be quicker to print and added as parts to a non-printed structure. It'll be much cheaper and easier if this thing is not fully 3d printed!
Disclaimer: These files were designed to have a few specific 3d printed components be added onto a non-printed base. I would recommend sealed XPS boards as the main slab, a modge podge mixture for the carbonite pattern, and 3D printed Han Solo parts and side panels.
The files include:
- Life sized files
- Assembled version with and without the main box slab
- Bambu Studio Project file
- Pre-separated into 15 main parts
- Han Solo body parts are separated for adding to a non-printed base
- Pre-cut parts for smaller printers
Hope you all enjoy! This is quite a sizeable project but these files should make it very easy to do a fantastic mixed-media approach.

Silver/black filament? I don't want to paint it because I want to put LEDs behind it to make it look like he is thawing when you push some buttons. Paints black light too much.

When you say another structure what do you mean exactly? What did you initially envision this built around?
Can I size down to have it on my desk? Would make a cool desk ornament.

OK this is great - my den is gonna look great with one of these. Just out of curiosity, will you make smaller sizes of the files? Like action figure size (Black Series and/or Vintage Collection)?
The assembled version should be able to be scaled down pretty low

Love that you made the hand parts an add on to the block instead of intrinsic to it so we could put other characters in Carbonite!
