Fantastic Four Trailer Reaction & Commentary

Hey James I see you check these posts. Is there a reason why you don't show the uncut full version on your patreon but instead want us to sync our own? All the other content creators I follow leave the footage up since it's paid I don't think they do copyright stuff. Anyway I would resub if you did as I'm on starlink so frequently my copy and yours will go out of sync. I also prefer it the way I suggest but I didn't mind my own copy just with my situation it makes the full reactions unwatchable. Love your stuff though brother and hope your channel growth continues!

I'm done with the Fantastic 4.

The MCU recently has some really solid films like GOTG3 and Deadpool and Wolverine and, though I don't know if it counts, X-Men 97 is one of the best things Disney/Marvel has produced . They're starting to win me back and really like the vibe the new F4 film is putting out. This looks like an event type film which is the type of vibe that made MCU films work early on.

I really want this to be good but I can’t help but get brought back to when I saw Fan4stic Four ten years ago and despite all the indifference I feel towards a lot of Marvel from the past three years, that imo is their worst output probably ever.

It looks pretty amazing. 2 things ... I have always been a fan and admirer of Vanessa Kirby and I think she will nail the role of Sue Storm And ... I think Pedro Pascal is the least impressive as Reed Richards ... unless we find out he is really Doctor Doom in disguise (which is something he would do) ... Notice we saw everyone's powers but Reed's in the trailer

I’m also glad this was what it said that it was a teaser and not a trailer. Too many times they say teaser and it is a 2:30 second trailer called a teaser. lol :)

I’m so excited to see Robert Downey, Jr. as Doctor Doom. :)

NGL I'm not going to check it out based off the BOOM BOOOOM BOOOM BUM choices in the trailor. Looks like it'll be standard medium grade marvel stuff.

James needs to watch Legion! One of FX’s best shows. It's technically X-Men, but it's way, way, way more out there. It's like an acid trip lol.

Tangentially related, because super heroes. Have you considered watching Invincible? Season 3 just started. It's pretty damn good ngl.
