How to fix: Baby disappeard afte birth and is in the middle of nowhere when I click on their icon
This could happen if there isn't enough room around the birth pillow or the birth pool
The right side of the birth pillow must be cleared of any object or walls, for example this bed is too close to the wall
and this birth pool is also too close to the wall
if your sim gave birth using the birth pillow or birth pool with a bad placement the baby will get yeeted to the middle of nowhere when you click on their icon
to fix it you essentially need to load into a different household from manage worlds then come back which allows your household to reset.
here is a step by step on how to do that:
1. Select mange worlds
2. Just Go to Manage Worlds
3. load into a household you haven't played with before
4. After it finishes loading go back to Manage Worlds
5. Go back to the house with the missing baby
6. Double click on the baby's icon and it should take you right to them.

Hi, it may be because your game save is corrupt. Try moving your sims to a different lot and moving them back to the original lot

Hey this didn’t work for me, I tried 2 new households I’ve never played

My Sim’s baby is still in the middle of the ocean in Windenburg even after loading a new household 🙁
Make sure you load into a household you haven't played with before
The manage worlds thing didn't work for me, so I bulldozed the lot and put it back again, and it puts the baby in your inventory so you can place it wherever! Just thought I'd put this here in case other people got stuck 😅
You have to go into a house you haven’t played before or it won’t work
the bed birth isnt working as soon as i add pillows i cant do breathing excersise
remove the birth pillows and put them on only when your sim is ready to give birth
I need help I'm not sure if i have to download both mods or not but i only have the early access mod installed and nothing is really working properly i had my teen sim pregnant and the baby bump wasn't showing at all until she was in labor but i just ignored that but as soon as she went into labor none of my sims were able to do anything like I couldn't have my sims partner give her a back massage and none of my sims are able to do anything and when I called the midwife it said she was on her way but never showed up I've tried "resetsim" and anything else i could think of but nothing was fixing this problem i can't even get my sims to take a bath or sleep and when i tried to use the give birth immediately it doesn't work.
It sounds like you have the mods installed correctly so that’s good. You can either try removing other mods and leaving just the child birth mod to see if it’s a mod conflict. Or describe exactly what isn’t working. For example “interaction cancels after they speak to eachother” “interaction is not there when I click on xyz”
When I tried to give birth in the hospital the beds and exam table keep disappearing

Absolutely amazing!! Unfortunately for some reason I wasn’t able to do breathing exercises on the bed. I had the pillows on the bed but a bubble appeared and it said she couldn’t get on the bed? I ended up doing the water birth. Thank you so much for an amazing mod x
You will not be able to do the breathing exercises with the birth pillows on the bed. You will have to remove them, in order to do that. Once you feel your sim is about ready to give birth, then purchase the pillows to place on the bed, and then should work fully from there. (just from me playing around with it, and reading about the birth pillows)
mine has the pool and pillows but doesnt give the option to do those births :(
There’s no option until your sim is fully dilated. And make sure to have a birth partner near by

Loving this update! The animations are amazing and it's adding a great depth to gameplay! One little thing I ran into: has anyone else run into an issue with the midwife cooking non-stop when not interacting with one of the household sims? She just kept going to the fridge and prepping food until she set the kitchen on fire! Once the fire was put out and she was extinguished she kept taking out more food after this as well and left unprepped food around the house! Other than this had no problems so far! <3
Ya a few others reported this issue. They are supposed to help around the house as a way to keep them busy but I will see if I can make the cook less next time!
Quick question, i just tested the Mod with my Legacy Family. The Baby spawed somewhere else than the prepared bassinet and after doing the whole "Manage World" thing, the Baby is just gone. The Icon is there but when i click on it nothing happens?
Maybe try restarting the game? I haven’t really ran into that before, they should always come back after reloading the household

In my game my sim gave birth at home in water but once the babies spawned they had different names
same, thought it was something I did.
