Modding Diary - Triplets Animation Update Coming Soon
Happy Friday! Hope you all had a fantastic week.
This week I finished the triplets animation and am getting the file ready for release and
I can't wait to share it with you! You can expect this update to come out in 2-3 days.

I finished writing the moodlets for giving birth to triplets through natural birth, here is a preview of what they look like

If you have any suggestions on what kind of moodlet the c-section one should have please leave a comment! I find it very helpful to write my moodlets through doing research online but there aren't a lot of articles on having triplets as it is a very rare occurrence lol
I need to do a few more tweaking to the animation and finish the coding for the C-Section triplets then I will be done! I cannot express how excited I am to finally be able to move on and start working on early labor activities! I plan on adding more ways to induce labor as well as more ways for the partner sim to interact with the pregnant sim so that they are more involved in the process. If you have any suggestions on what type activities you would like to see during early labor please leave a comment down below!

Hi, this is a work in progress post. The mod you want to install is the one that says v2b. You should never have more than 1 version of the mod installed in your mod folder
Thank you for all your hard work on this! I love this mod so much! I just wondered if it was possible for it to be more random for how quick/slow labor progressed! I feel like every one of my sims takes a full 24-48 hours and is always only 1 cm when they first check in.it would be nice to see there be some more variability and maybe some precipitous (super fast) labors too. Just an idea but I really enjoy it and think you’ve done an incredible job!

maybe some rub the belly interaction on the hospital bed, how about some interactions for partner's to do like helping the pregnant sim breath, giving the pregnant sims hands or shoulders massage, talk about last min baby names, I would like to see as a labor activity a birthing bath yes it's going to be the same as when you start the water birth animations but just have a nice size tub where the pregnant sim can get in and lean forward in pain while the partner rubs their back. labor teas that the pregnant sim can drink in their third trimester to speed up going into labor. also keep up with the amazing work. can't wait to see what you have in store
Love the tiny babies! It’s more realistic I think as multiples tend to be quite small. These animations you’re making involving babies make me think that you’d be stellar at actually improving gameplay with babies someday. 😍 If we get another poll in the future I vote for babies! 🤣👌🏻

The links have not been released yet. Panda says this in the description. This update will be out in 2-3 days. If you want to play with the mod pre-triplets update - the links are on her page. Hope this clears up your confusion.

Is it possible to make a add on for Wicked Whims "Woohoo" an activity that speeds up labor? "Woohoo" activities increase oxytocin and speed things along. Also, if it is possible, I would LOVE for sims to be able to do more things while in early labor, knitting, reading, meditation/yoga, etc.
I've been loving having this mod in game, seriously my sims is currently in labor at the hospital on a walk to increase dilation. You said that you were already planning to add more interactions with the partner so I don't know if its already on your list but it would be nice if the partner could join them on the walk. I'd like to suggest knitting for early labor activities. Currently sims are too uncomfortable to knit when in labor but imagine sims knitting baby onesies for the little one their about to give birth to? And I'm excited to see what ways you include for inducing labor, there are a lot of weird ones. Apparently some studies suggest that the date fruit can encourage the cervix to dilate, I know we don't have dates in game but there are grow fruit. Maybe if sims eat them in the third trimester than they can potentially start at a higher dilation in the hospital? Or not, I'll enjoy anything you include.

Adorable! As to your question about other early labor activities what I think what would be great is centered around the primary early labor activity, contractions! An increase to the frequency of contractions as the end gets closer, lining up with the labor buffs you added. As you transition from one buff to another, if the sim choose not to get the epidural, the contraction animation could become more frequent until near the end our pregnant sim would be experiencing it every 5-10 sim minutes. Is that going to be painful to watch? A little. Is that realistic? Absolutely. I know lots of folks have asked for water birth and its true even some hospitals (I had the opportunity to have this myself) have large tubs for laboring now (even if they won't allow actual water birth) - water helps. I do use ThePancake1's "Cuddle From Behind" animation from their more romance mod when my sims are in labor because it looks really cute and maybe in really early labor more cuddles and snuggles could be nice? Otherwise I'm struggling to think of things you do in early labor that you can't already do. Rocking in a rocking chair, taking a shower, having your partner give you a massage, that's all available. Keep up the fantastic work - I'm so excited to see what you'll come up with next!

Your work is really really good, so detailed and you thought about everything. Just as idea, I would love a seperate birthing centre or hospital just for l&d with extra doctors and nurses, maybe you could let the sims go to checkups during pregnancy
